These hints, portents, there are many. The two directors both claim it is a new cinematic language, and are fascinated by it, believing Lance to be the most outstanding producer, director, screenwriter, and possibly actor in the current film circle.
Once the film transitions from its warm early phase, the pace quickens. Those authentic bombardment scenes and the vibrating camera shots elicit gasps from many.
Lance suddenly feels a hand clutching his; he turns his head to look at Barbara sitting beside him, her palms sweaty.
"Are you nervous?" Lance asks.
Barbara nods slightly. Lance pulls out a handkerchief, wipes the sweat from her hands, rolls the handkerchief into a ball, and stuffs it into her hand. "Patricia is already four months pregnant."
He reminds Barbara casually, not that Lance's little pup isn't up to it, just that he's experienced more and has gained self-control.
Barbara's expression doesn't look good, and she stops looking at Lance.
