The lights in the screening room gradually came up, three senators, a group of Representatives, and some accompanying personnel all remained silent.
Their attention was focused on the three senators seated behind them.
Senator Cleveland glanced at the two senators beside him, then slowly stood up, supporting himself on the armrest of the chair, and began clapping.
Soon everyone started clapping, with the senators being the most restrained, giving gentle applause. When it came to the Representatives, their applause was much stronger.
When it got to the accompanying personnel, they seemed eager to clap their hands off!
This wasn't because Lance's movie was so much to their liking, but simply because of their positions.
"The movie was shot really well, has deep significance. Come to my room later, let's chat," said Senator Cleveland.
Lance nodded.
