After Anning and Xiao Yuan were fed, Yu Xin held Anning in one arm while gently stroking the fur on Xiao Yuan's back with the other: "Little one, shall big sis take you home?"
"Woof."
Xiao Yuan barked.
He meant he could go home by himself.
But Yu Xin was worried.
"You can't go home alone, there are too many bad people out there now. What if you run into a heartless one who captures you? Little one, you're my lifesaver, how can I let you be in danger?"
Xiao Yuan barked again.
Yu Xin chuckled: "I'll take Dingding and we'll send you back, okay?"
Xiao Yuan nodded his head.
Yu Xin picked up Anning and headed out with Xiao Yuan.
"Little one, where's your home?"
Downstairs, Yu Xin patted Xiao Yuan's head and asked.
She thought Xiao Yuan belonged to a resident in the neighborhood, thinking it shouldn't be far.
Little did she know, she followed Xiao Yuan all the way out of the neighborhood, walked quite a distance before reaching Xiao Yuan's home.
