Meili hesitated for a moment, then poked her again: "Little sister, eat something before you sleep, otherwise this whole night is going to be hard to get through."
The girl suddenly sat up, glared at her: "I say, why are you so annoying? Whether I eat or not is none of your damn business!"
"I'm sorry." Meili didn't get angry; she smiled good‑naturedly. "If you don't want to eat, then forget it, but why are you so worked up? I was just being kind."
"Kind? You've got some nerve saying that. Ever since you got on the train you've been fussing around nonstop. Fine, you finally managed to toss together a whole concert and turned the entire carriage into a vegetable market. With your kind of quality, no wonder a man dumped you. If I were a man, I'd dump you too!"
