I let out a small laugh as I nodded for once feeling like the biggest scum on the earth. Jay and Rodney drilled it into my head to not ruin something so good because of one mistake. I knew that was the logical thing to do but how could I face the fact that I would be hurting Benecio with my lies.
One day I would have to tell him. I knew I would. I wasn't going to be Danilo dragging something on forever and ever but I didn't want to lose him either. Maybe that was how he felt. Scared that the news of his marriage would send me running for the hills. I guessed he was right.
