Chapter 365 - Legends Of Olympia

Chase scowled at Equan who had taken his place atop the table, dancing with the kicks of his feet.

Several bards had followed along only moments after, and the next thing everyone knew, well everyone was dancing like maniacs.

It was only a few moments later when Chase found himself throwing a right hook towards the face of a bulky man with the appearance of a hybrid between a Viking and a fabric merchant.

His right hand struck violently, launching the man into a stole as another threw a chair at Chase from behind, causing him to duck and curse as he spilled some of his ale onto the ground that sat in his right hand.

To his left, Equan was dancing atop several heads of people actively in a brawl of their own, in his hand- he balanced several mugs of ale between each of his fingers as his mask was tilted to the left allowing him to drink with the mask still on.

He was laughing with such glee, Chase couldn't even yell at him, as just then he had to dodge another chair that crashed into the chest of one of the bartenders who hurled over and began cussing at the top of her lungs.

Chase on the other hand, lifted his mug, and side stepped a bronze sword that crashed into the ground violently.

He downed the entire thing through the gaping maw of the onyx mask.

Lifting the mug, he grinned as he struck straight down, only seeing the wooden mug crash and shatter atop the head of a blonde haired warrior. Who just so happened to have a make out session with the ground just after that.

...

Within the Tudor House...

Luna, Gemini, and Luke had turned the living room into a blacksmiths hall.

Luke fanned the flames of a small makeshift forge, as Luna grumbled with the carving of some ancient stone she had stolen from a shady shop.

Gemini on the other hand was having the time of his life, humming along with a tune that Griffin had once played for the party within Olympia.

His hammer met an anvil with striking force, shaping steel into form as several more strikes followed.

The door swung open and crashed against the wall, as a drunk Justin laughed haughtily as Jacob and Brody tried to drag him to his room.

Kaylynn began to cuss from above, stomping on the floor of her room that sat above the entrance.

...

Along a windy path far South of the ruins of Equus...

Azure hummed as he spun Gabriel's trident with indifferent glee.

Gabriel on the other hand was glaring violently towards Azure, clenching his fists so tight that the armor around his wrists had begun to crack even further than its already pre-damaged cloth and steel.

Michael quickened his pace and began walking alongside Azure.

"How strong are you?" He eventually asked, interrupting the gleeful hum of Azzie.

Azure tilted his head, brushing his white hair back with his free hand.

"What do you mean, noble of Everfrost?" He asked, in clear confusion at the very obvious question.

Michael frowned, quickly falling behind Azure as he was clearly impatient to get to this location that he had made sound as serious as an active war.

"What Star are you? Or are you a Paladin? Ya know?" Michael asked, feeling more and more curious as he caught up with Azzie.

Azure chuckled.

"Yall's foolish systems of rank have no meaning to a bugger like me. I am simply what you fellas would call a "Nomad"..." He chuckled again, swaying right and left as a frown quickly made his face.

"You fellas are quite slow... Are yall sure you don't have any winged dolphins?" He asked, looking up at the sky with what Michael could only assume as the gears shifting in his head.

"What the hell is a Winged Dolphin?" Gabriel asked, looking quite annoyed.

Azure spat out water, which apparently had been in his mouth.

He stopped in his tracks, turning towards Gabe with a dumbfounded expression.

"Tell me mate... What school did you go to? ACTUALLY! Better yet friend, isn't your affinity water?!" Azure yelled with the need for answers.

Gabriel shrugged.

"Never heard of it..." He muttered, his eyes only glaring at the trident in Azure's hand.

Azure sighed and palmed his face.

"Mate... What in the bloody hell kinda water user doesn't know of the creatures in his own domain?!" He stomped his foot and turned back towards the direction they had been going in for the last several days.

...

Chase dashed between two fighters throwing identical strikes at each other, and behind him he heard the terrible crash of knuckles meeting jaws.

However, it was about time he got out of there.

Then, just as he glanced and waved at a joyous Equan, he felt a thud and nearly lost balance as he had crashed into a hooded figure...

The man was wearing a half mask underneath his hood, one marked with onyx plastic and ember trims around the eyes, where a set of orange eyes hid underneath them.

Chase and the figure stared at each other, both collecting their balance.

It appeared the man had no interest in a fight, and had already began to turn away.

"Do I know you?" Chase called out, stepping towards him, before he felt a terribly familiar aura began to eat away at the flames within him.

'Fire...?' Chase scowled, watching in confusion as the man turned towards him again.

The man took a hefty breath, then spoke with a deepened voice that only rose more suspicion.

"I doubt that... But I'd recommend you stay away from The Blaze Syndicate... For your own good, fellow warrior..." Then with that... He exhaled deeply and turned away, stepping around an arrow that flung into the wall where he once stood in front of, and he swung the door open and left as if he had not even wanted to be there in the first place.

Chase shook his head in confusion, as Equan spoke up beside him over the crashing and music of the tavern.

"Who was that guy?" He asked loudly.

Chase didn't answer, but he couldn't shake the feeling that him and the man had once shared a bond in the past...
