Chapter 596 - Chapter 596: Aliens and Saints

"No, no, I just want to know if your cloth-making techniques are shared with outsiders?" Shin waved his hand and asked.

Mu's nose was crooked with anger. He finally realized why Shin had been peeping at him; it turned out he wanted to steal his cloth-making techniques!

Not only that, seeing that he couldn't steal the knowledge, this guy actually had the audacity to walk right up to his door and ask for the techniques directly! This was truly the last straw!

Furthermore, although Mu couldn't pinpoint Shin's origins, the Saint Seiya under Athena were essentially enemies of the whole world. Basically, whether it was God Warriors, Mariners, Mariners, or Berserkers, they were all their opponents.

Under these circumstances, as long as someone wasn't a Saint Seiya, they were basically confirmed not to be an ally. So, Mu wasn't afraid of hitting the wrong person when he made his move.

"You want to learn my cloth-making techniques? Then ask my fists first! Starlight Extinction!"

He said to ask his fists, but in reality, Mu's Starlight Extinction was a powerful psychokinetic move that had nothing to do with fists at all.

Among all the current Gold Saints, Mu was certainly not the strongest—he might not even make the top three—but in terms of sheer style, he was definitely number one, second only to Shaka, who kept his eyes closed every day.

After all, whether it was Starlight Extinction or Crystal Wall, they were powerful moves released with just a thought, without moving a hand or shaking a shoulder. This naturally put immense psychological pressure on opponents during combat, making them feel like he wasn't even using his full strength.

However, unfortunately, this powerful move didn't even count as a scratch when it hit Shin; it didn't even break through his biological magnetic field.

Mu had actually held back slightly when he attacked. After all, he saw that Shin wasn't wearing armor like a cloth. Although he sensed that Shin was no ordinary person, he was afraid of making a blunder and accidentally killing him in one hit before fully understanding his identity.

After all, even for Gold Saints, whether or not they wore their gold cloth had a huge impact on their combat power. Mu, who had long since sensed the situation, was now fully armed. He believed that except for the Libra Saint of the previous generation, any other Gold Saint would be no match for him without their gold cloth.

As for tanking his moves without wearing a gold cloth? Mu didn't believe any human could do such a thing.

However, reality was incredibly cruel. Mu felt his attack was like throwing a pebble into an ocean, having no effect at all. It hit Shin without even scuffing his clothes. He had no choice but to increase the power of Starlight Extinction, burning his Cosmo to the limit, yet he still didn't feel the opponent take any damage.

Greatly alarmed, Mu immediately shifted his strategy, converting Starlight Extinction from an offensive skill into a movement skill, intending to transport Shin directly into an alternate dimension. However, the feedback from the technique felt as if an ordinary strongman were trying to move a ten-thousand-foot mountain. The opponent's mere existence possessed such immense mass that his spatial movement couldn't affect him at all.

After the intense light and shadow effects ended, Shin was still standing in front of Mu with a half-smile on his face. Mu gasped, quickly setting up several layers of Crystal Wall before finally forcing himself to calm down.

"You... just which god are you? The legendary God of Fire?"

In Greek mythology, the God of Fire is known for his ugliness. Of course, in this world, no matter how ugly that God of Fire and Forge might be, he was definitely above average. Although Shin didn't look like the God of Fire from any perspective—and lacked the most prominent feature of a limp—this was the only powerhouse Mu could think of after racking his brains.

Seeing Mu's tense expression, Shin rubbed his chin. "Well, Mu... have you ever heard of aliens?"

Mu: "..."

Aliens!? Heavens above, although Mu wasn't some ancient relic, he still lived a very classical lifestyle. He only had a vague concept of aliens and never knew that a living one actually existed!

And are all aliens this powerful? Even the attack power of a Gold Saint was just a tickle to them? If all aliens were this formidable, what would happen to Earth?

The duty of a Saint Seiya was to protect the Earth. According to past records, previous generations of Saint Seiya had fought against Mariners and Specters. Would they have to fight alien invaders in the future?

At the thought of hundreds of millions of terrifying aliens like Shin invading, Mu's expression changed.

Shin didn't expect Mu to have such a wild imagination. Watching his face change colors like a chameleon, he had no idea what the man was conjuring up in his head.

It couldn't be helped; these Saint Seiya might be powerful, but few of them were highly educated. Basically, as long as they were literate and could read and write, it was enough. Some of the clever and wise ones might have some accomplishments in literature and philosophy, but when it came to science, they were all scientifically illiterate.

These guys didn't stop to think that if an entire planet were filled with such monsters, that planet would have probably exploded millions of times over.

The more powerful a creature, the rarer it is; this is an unbreakable truth in any universe. If there really were a race where everyone was a superman, their numbers would definitely not be many. The universe itself would even spontaneously regulate them to prevent a bunch of monsters from destroying it.

Seeing Mu perform his face-changing technique for a long time, a helpless Shin spoke up: "Well, Mu, I've already told you my identity. May I ask if I can learn how to make a cloth from you?"

Mu finally snapped out of it and looked at Shin, sizing him up from head to toe. Seeing that Shin didn't have more eyes or arms than a normal person, he didn't answer Shin's question but instead asked hesitantly, "Are you really an alien? You don't look any different from an Earthling."

Shin grew slightly impatient and blinked his eyes. Two red lasers surged out, instantly shattering the Crystal Walls Mu had placed in front of him. The terrifying high-temperature beams brushed past Mu's ears, causing his hair to curl in the heat and emitting a burnt smell.

Mu turned his head stiffly, looked at the land that had been pierced through from start to finish by Shin's two lasers, and swallowed hard.
