Chapter 650: Battle Against Yuan Gate's Three Sect Masters
"Hehe, to think the insignificant nobody of the past has become such a calamity."
Feeling Lin Langtian's icy gaze, Tian Yuánzi only narrowed his eyes and sneered from high above Yuan Gate.
"Those who walk in evil will destroy themselves. All of this is nothing but your own doing."
Lin Langtian's face was expressionless as he stared at him.
"From today on, the Eastern Xuan Region will have no place for a sect called Yuan Gate."
Tian Yuánzi's smile deepened, strange light gleaming in his eyes. His gaze slid across the endless Allied forces massed outside his mountain.
"In that case, let's give you what you want.
"Allow us to present… a little feast of demonic cultivation."
As his words fell, black light flared in the eyes of all three Sect Masters.
Together, they formed seals.
Three pillars of demonic radiance burst from their bodies, spearing upward and downward, linking heaven and earth.
Swish!
The black beams spread like ink, racing across sky and land alike.
The world dimmed. Cold winds howled.
Screams erupted from within Yuan Gate's own grounds.
Everyone watched in horror as Yuan Gate disciples began exploding where they stood, bodies bursting apart in sprays of blood.
Flesh and blood were ground together with roiling demonic qi until they flooded the land like a rising tide.
Boom!
The earth itself split open as viscous magic seeped up from the depths.
Something monstrous stirred beneath their feet.
In moments, heaven and earth drowned in a sea of demonic qi.
Light fled the sky.
The stink of evil chilled the very marrow of every expert present.
The three Sect Masters had sacrificed more than half their own sect without blinking.
Then the ground tore even wider as countless dark shapes clawed their way free.
"What is that?" Ying Xiaoxiao breathed, her pretty face drained of color.
All eyes turned.
The figures that burst from the earth were massive, their bodies broken and incomplete yet still hulking with brute strength.
There were hints of human form in their limbs—but their auras were utterly inhuman.
"These are Otherworldly Demon remains. Dead Demons, reanimated by the three Sect Masters' tricks."
Lin Langtian's voice was taut.
"Back during the ancient war, most Demons were purified entirely. Even their corpses were erased.
"Who would have thought Yuan Gate had been hoarding so many under their mountain all this time…" Ying Huanhuan said coldly, frost gathering on her delicate features.
"Roar!"
As if enraged by her words, the Demon corpses howled to the sky.
Their sunken eye sockets turned toward the countless experts in the air.
Then they leapt.
Like locusts, they swarmed upward in a living cloud.
"Everyone—together!
"Slaughter these Demons and erase Yuan Gate!"
Mo Jian's shout cut through the rising panic.
Sword intent like a raging river burst from him, his blade carving through hundreds of Demon bodies in a single arc.
"Kill!"
His strike steadied the Allied ranks.
They swallowed their fear and hurled their own Yuan Power into the storm.
Demon corpses fell like rain, torn apart mid‑air…
Until more clawed their way up from the depths, filling the gaps without pause.
For now, the Alliance's sheer numbers held the line.
But under the unending flood of demonic qi, the balance began to shift.
Roars shook the sky as several vast geysers of magic surged upward.
From within them strode dozens of lean, withered Demon shapes.
Smaller than the corpses before them, they carried a far denser, more terrifying aura.
Even as revenants, their presence surpassed the previous horde by far. In life, these had been Demon Generals.
Now, though weakened by death, they still charged straight through the storm of attacks and crashed into the Allied ranks like blades through silk.
Where they passed, powerhouses fell like grass, their blood stained black by demonic taint.
With these shock‑troops at the vanguard, the tide of Demon corpses rallied.
Demonic qi and Yuan Power clashed in a deafening maelstrom, the sky lit by the collision of two living floods.
"Sect Master Ying, you and the others need to pin those stronger corpses down."
Lin Langtian watched the line begin to buckle.
Those Demon Generals were punching holes in the defense faster than the Alliance could patch them.
Left unchecked, the line would shatter—and the flood would devour everything.
"Understood."
Ying Xuanzhi's gaze hardened.
With a wave of his hand, he led Dao Sect's elites into the thick of the fight, their combined might slamming into the advancing Demon Generals.
"Brother Zhou, Jin Wu, Qingzhu—stay sharp.
"If something worse shows up, it's on you." Lin Langtian said quietly.
He could feel something still lurking deep beneath the mountain.
Something far stronger than what they'd seen so far.
"Got it."
Zhou Tong and the others nodded, their faces grave.
Boom!
Even as he finished speaking, the ground convulsed.
A tidal wave of demonic qi exploded upward, thick enough to blot out sight.
Several towering silhouettes moved within it.
"Damn. With an aura like that… were those Demon Kings in life?" Commander Jin Sha muttered, face dark.
The miasma thinned.
Six figures stepped out.
Unlike the others, their bodies were nearly whole. Evil light flickered in their hollow sockets, and the weight of their presence pressed down like a physical force.
These had been Demon Kings once.
Now, even in death, they radiated menace.
Their gazes locked onto the cluster of Heavenly Palace and Dao Sect elites around Lin Langtian.
They could taste the danger gathered there.
"Time to move."
Zhou Tong's voice was flat.
Even in their current state, these Demon Kings were beyond ordinary Reincarnation experts.
Only the very top‑tier could stand against them.
Swish!
The Demon Kings did not wait to be attacked.
They threw back their heads and shrieked, then hurtled forward in a blur of fangs and claws, demonic qi boiling in their wake.
"Stay sharp." Lin Langtian said to Ling Qingzhu and Ying Xiaoxiao at his side.
The two women exchanged a quick look and nodded.
"The three Sect Masters are yours." Ling Qingzhu said softly.
"Don't worry. This is the end of their road."
Lin Langtian smiled faintly and stepped upward into the air.
The pressure coming from him alone pushed the surrounding demonic qi back.
Boom, boom, boom!
Below, the earth heaved once more as something colossal tore free from its prison.
Lin Langtian watched as a thousand‑zhang shadow clawed its way up out of the depths.
Demonic qi raged around it.
At last, the monster pulled itself into the open—a giant demon with four massive arms, its entire body black as ink.
It had no eyes—only a gaping maw packed with jagged black teeth.
"Oh? A Great Heaven Evil Demon corpse… and you're using it as a puppet, are you?" Lin Langtian murmured.
"Hehehe…"
The Demon's vast face writhed as three human visages surfaced on its surface.
Tian Yuánzi, Rén Yuánzi, and Dì Yuánzi stared out at Lin Langtian, grinning with warped delight.
"Lin Langtian.
"We said it long ago.
"Even with your newfound strength, in our eyes you're still just an ant."
Lin Langtian's gaze turned to ice.
He stared at the Great Heaven Evil Demon for a heartbeat… then the corner of his mouth twitched upward.
Heat kindled in the depths of his eyes.
"We'll see who's the ant when this is over."
Gold erupted from his body, flooding the sky.
A pair of massive golden kun wings unfolded at his back, stretching for a thousand zhang.
Two golden dragon horns emerged from his brow.
The pressure rolling off him was so heavy that even Reincarnation experts felt their hearts stutter.
Far behind him, Ling Qingzhu, Ying Xiaoxiao, and the other Eastern Xuan experts could only stare.
No one had expected this.
Just the aura he exuded now put the proudest of the Beast Domain's four great clans to shame.
"Dragon… and Kunpeng…"
Tian Yuánzi's eyes had gone almost black as he watched.
All three Sect Masters could feel it—the twin wills of dragon and kun coiled inside that slender human frame.
"Yuan Gate's bargain with the Demons comes due today." Lin Langtian said quietly.
"Hmph. Still talking big."
The Great Heaven Evil Demon's three faces twisted with mirth.
"Let's see how long your arrogance lasts."
The monster opened its maw.
Demonic qi roared inward.
A black sphere the size of a small mountain formed between its teeth, shrinking and condensing until it shone like a dark star.
With a roar, the Demon spat.
The orb tore the sky apart as it screamed toward Lin Langtian, leaving a smoking trail of annihilation in its wake.
Lin Langtian's face tightened slightly.
He flicked a thought.
His golden wings snapped shut, cocooning him in a radiant shield.
Boom!
The destructive sphere slammed into the barrier.
Space crumpled and shattered around it as force hammered into the kun wings.
Golden light flickered.
For a breath, it seemed they might break.
On the ground, Ling Qingzhu and the others held their breath.
Then the black star finally guttered out.
The wings shuddered once more—and snapped open with a sharp crack.
The sphere of destruction whirled back the way it had come like a stone off a springboard.
In the blink of an eye it smashed toward the Great Heaven Evil Demon.
"Roar!"
The Demon bellowed, four arms tensing.
Demonic patterns flared across its fists as it swung.
Space imploded around its blow as it slammed into the returning orb.
The sphere detonated in a thunderclap that rattled the vault of heaven.
Shockwaves ripped outward, rattling teeth and setting the world itself groaning.
"Hmph. Not bad."
The three Sect Masters chuckled coldly.
"Let's see how you handle this, then."
"Roar!"
The Great Heaven Evil Demon shrieked.
Waves of sound rippled out in visible rings as it stomped down, each blow smashing holes through the air.
In the next instant it became a streak of pure demonic light, arrowing straight at Lin Langtian with the weight of an apocalypse.
Lin Langtian narrowed his eyes and clenched his fists.
Golden scales rippled down his arms, the plates glowing with liquid power.
His kun wings beat once, launching him forward like a golden comet.
Before the watching world, the colossal Demon and the dragon‑kun youth slammed together like two falling stars.
Far below, the very earth shook.
"Let's see which is stronger—your Great Heaven Evil Demon… or my Dragon Kun Physique."
The words boomed out like thunder as their blows met.
Boom!
The collision cracked heaven and earth.
Visible shockwaves fanned out in all directions, leaving warped, caving space in their wake.
The ground buckled.
"Roar!"
The Great Heaven Evil Demon battered at him with all four arms, each blow dragging a curtain of demonic light behind it.
Every punch could have reduced a mountain to dust.
Clang!
Lin Langtian's golden fists met them one after another, the sound of metal on metal ringing through the sky.
Sparks flew where dragon scale clashed with demon flesh.
The Demon drove forward, its arms a blur of endless punches.
Each impact shook the clouds.
Lin Langtian's lips peeled back in something not quite a smile.
He met them all head‑on.
A low dragon's song thrummed in the air as golden scales climbed higher up his arms, tightening into a living gauntlet.
When he struck, it was with the full, terrifying might of a god‑beast.
Boom!
Fist met fist.
The space between them exploded into a yawning black void as the two forces cancelled each other out.
Both combatants staggered back a step.
"Not bad, brat. That body of yours is something else."
The three Sect Masters' voices rasped from the Demon's faces.
For the first time, there was a sliver of real surprise in them.
They had not expected to find flesh that could stand toe‑to‑toe with a Great Heaven Evil Demon—
And not fall apart.
