The Luthor Patriarch opened his eyes; his ears were ringing with impossible sounds and his heart beat fast.
He blinked his eyelids over and over again, checking and trying to get his bearings about what was happening.
To him, it was as though he had just woken up from a very deep slumber and could not put a finger on where he was or who he was for a few seconds.
That was when he started to make sense of what was happening. His eyes regained their laser focus, and he began to feel his new body.
When he blinked for the final time, his burning white eyes, no longer the blue they once used to be, settled on the figure in front of him.
The Luthor Patriarch found himself staring at his own body. The body that was no longer his.
The skin on the face of this body was in the process of healing, and the Patriarch could clearly see the facial features.
Very similar to his own.
His hands, slightly bigger than they used to be, were wrapped around the neck of this former body of his.
