Chapter 528 - Carrow Siblings

The rest of the Jacobsen clan gathered around Seth were already feeling suffocated.

They had been in Norway for many years and always believed that only Seth could bully others, and no one dared to bully him.

But now, someone was actually standing up to him.

Showing off your power in front of them would only make you seem careless.

"Kill them all!"

"I want them to suffer under the Cruciatus Curse repeatedly!"

"An eye for an eye!"

The wizards of the Pure Land Society roared in unison and launched a fierce counterattack on the camp ahead.

Seth led the charge like an arrow, rushing forward and wildly waving his wand, casting one powerful poisonous curse after another into the enemy's camp.

"Quick! The enemy is advancing! Organize a counterattack immediately. Don't let them get close, or no one will escape!" Sound Bird shouted urgently to the surrounding wizards and took the lead in casting defensive spells.

But many of the guards were still recovering from the previous battle, nursing injuries and exhausted from the long journey and harsh Nordic climate.

Despite understanding the urgency, their ability to mount a strong defense was limited.

Their spells were weak or poorly aimed, barely slowing down their attackers.

Some wizards had already collapsed behind the bunkers, while others were thinking about retreating and using Apparition to escape.

"What's going on? Why can't I Apparate?"

One North American wizard tried nervously, only to find that his Apparition failed.

Panic rose as he shouted.

No one could Apparate anymore.

"I didn't expect the Pure Land Society to be this ruthless. They've even cast an anti-Apparition spell over the entire area," someone muttered.

"What do we do now, Otis?"

"What else can I do? Fighting is our only option now. Running won't save you, it'll just get you killed faster!" Otis's face was grim; he hadn't expected their enemies to block every possible escape route.

This was a trap they couldn't break through.

He was determined to take them all down.

Meanwhile, Sound Bird, still struggling to resist, felt a chill run down his spine.

He didn't have the Portkey, the one that could only be used with a spear.

Was he really going to have to explain that here?

Then a thought struck him: Augurey behind her was holding a spear, so she must have the Portkey with her, right?

Their eyes met immediately.

Augurey looked at the situation ahead with a grim expression.

Yes, she did have the Portkey, but was she really willing to give up what she was protecting?

"Haha, I'm at my limit, everyone, hold on!" Seth shouted as he led a group of wizards charging forward from several meters away.

He could clearly see the fear on the faces of the club's wizards.

Then, instead of pushing ahead, Seth slowed down and repeated his old tactic.

Holding his wand to his side, he suddenly jabbed it fiercely toward Augurey.

"Turn me to dust, strike me with a thunderbolt and make me explode!"

When Seth unleashed another fierce spell, everyone in the club gasped.

No one was sure if Augurey could handle it as calmly as before.

Many doubted Diricawl's strength now.

After all, their leader had blocked a spell earlier but then stayed hidden, not casting anything else.

With hope slipping away, all they could do was pray that Augurey would rise and protect them, otherwise, they faced death with no one to bury them.

The Sound Bird standing beside Augurey looked pale, too.

As soon as Seth began to cast, it was clear that neither he nor Augurey had any chance of escaping.

The blast would smash right through the cover, disrupting the Portkey's transmission.

All Sound Bird could do now was fight with everything he had.

'Grow bigger, fast!'

Unlike Diricawl, Sound Bird didn't have the skill to keep casting complex Iron Armor spells, so he pinned his hopes on a rock bunker created by a Transfiguration spell.

Summoning all his magic, he tried to enlarge the stone enough to block the deadly explosion.

But as the series of blasts rolled forward, everyone saw Sound Bird's effort was sadly unrealistic.

The giant boulder, swollen to three or four meters tall by the Enlargement Charm, shattered instantly under the roaring explosion, crumbling like dry bread under a wheel.

"Boom!"

A violent cloud of smoke and dust engulfed Sound Bird's spot.

Wizards watching from the club looked utterly crushed, as if their whole family had died.

The barrier, once several meters high, vanished in an instant.

With a spell this powerful, who could stop it?

Even if Augurey had blocked a blast before, it didn't mean she could do so again.

Many wizards collapsed in despair, hoping the Pure Land Society would show mercy and spare them.

Meanwhile, the Jacobsen family wizards sneered, confident and unshaken.

In their eyes, the two envoys of the Silver Wand had clearly been wiped out by the spell, and they expected their own end to come next.

But Seth, the leader, wasn't pleased.

He stood motionless, staring seriously at the swirling smoke ahead.

Breaking the tense silence of the battlefield, Seth's cold voice cut through the air.

"Who are you?" he demanded, wand raised and ready for a fight, fully alert.

His unusual reaction caught the attention of all the wizards from the Pure Land Society.

What was going on? Why did Seth look as if he'd seen a ghost?

Before anyone could voice their questions, slow but steady footsteps echoed from within the thick smoke.

Suddenly, a lone sorcerer appeared, dressed in the familiar Silver Wand uniform.

He casually held a pure white aspen wand between his fingers. It was Thunderbird, come to their aid.

Seeing Thunderbird emerge, the Pure Land Society wizards were certain help had arrived.

However, they glared in anger and disbelief at how this man had managed to bypass Seth's anti-Apparition spell and appear out of nowhere.

Thunderbird strolled confidently toward the Pure Land members, sneering.

"You insignificant pests," he spat. "You're not even worthy of knowing the name of the strong."

Seth sneered back, "Strong? You call yourself strong?

Haven't you noticed your companions are so scared they're about to soil themselves?"

Thunderbird glanced behind him at the wounded, then shot back, "Calling a bunch of losers your companions doesn't make you any less trash. So don't get cocky."

Despite knowing Thunderbird's sharp tongue, the Pure Land wizards bristled at being called trash, yet they dared not reply and remained silent.

"Since you're so strong, why didn't you show yourself earlier?" Seth taunted.

"Do you really think you can save these people by yourself?"
