Hearing Amber's words, a flicker of confusion crossed Eula's eyes.
Amber propped her hands on her hips and explained, "Just now that guy said he wanted two wives, and he didn't deny it, did he?"
"Hehe, Eula, don't tell me you're thinking about it too~?"
As she spoke, Amber jabbed her elbow into Eula's slim waist, her eyes brimming with mischief.
"Wh-who's thinking about anything?"
Eula's pretty face flushed slightly, and she stammered incoherently, "I was just joking around with that guy, that's all!"

Noticing Amber's teasing, mocking expression, Eula huffed, "You actually dared to make fun of me—teasing me like that! I'll remember this, and I'll get you back!"
Behind them, Ye Xi had no idea what the two of them were whispering about. He simply pulled Collei along and headed back into the house.
He had just sat down in the living room when a commotion broke out from the kitchen.
Raiden Ei came walking out of the kitchen with a crestfallen look on her face, Xiangling trailing beside her, still trying her best to console her.
"General, this was surely just an accident!"
"Next time! Next time it's bound to be delicious!"
"I promise!"
Watching Raiden Ei slump dejectedly onto the sofa, Ye Xi couldn't help his curiosity, and he asked what had happened.
So Xiangling recounted the whole affair.
It turned out that Raiden Ei, egged on by Yae Miko, had wanted to learn how to cook.
The result was that, after an enormous amount of effort, what she produced was still... well, hard to put into words.
Xiangling sighed, "How strange. She followed all of my instructions to the letter, cooked it right under my nose—
"The heat, the seasoning, the ingredients were all in the normal proportions. So why on earth did it turn out so awful to eat?!"
She had just tried a bite herself, and that flavor was, frankly, even worse than some of the bizarre new dishes she'd invented!
Thankfully she was used to taste-testing and had braced herself mentally, otherwise a single bite might have sent her straight to the heavens.
Hearing this, Ye Xi couldn't stop a cold sweat from breaking out.
Was this some kind of joke? Letting Raiden Ei cook?
Wasn't that just courting death?!
He immediately spoke up, "Pack up the dish she made!"
"Ehh—!?"
Xiangling's face filled with shock. She thought Ye Xi meant to eat it, and hurriedly tried to talk him out of it, "Master, you absolutely mustn't try it! I don't want to be widowed at such a young age!"

Just as Jean was at a loss for what to do, Ningguang spoke up, "Grand Master Jean, I read your letters some time ago, and I felt you were a rigorous yet meticulous woman."
"Now that I've met you in person, it's exactly as I thought."
"I hope that the cooperation and mutual support between Liyue and Mondstadt going forward will proceed most smoothly."
Ningguang's tone and demeanor were dignified and elegant, brimming with courtesy.
Only then did Grand Master Jean come to her senses, hurriedly nodding and greeting Ningguang and Keqing.
After that, Amber went on to introduce Dehya, Alusha, and the others one by one.
The shock in Jean's heart only grew.
