Sera nodded and immediately got to work. First came the shirt. She helped him into it and held it open so he could slide his arms through the sleeves. Her movements were confident, but Julian could see the slight tremble in her fingers as she buttoned it up from the bottom. When her knuckles brushed against his bare chest, that tremor became more noticeable. Her breath hitched just a little, and she kept her eyes focused on the buttons, as if afraid to meet his gaze.
The white shirt fit Julian's frame perfectly. Once all the silver buttons were fastened, Sera then smoothed the material over his chest and shoulders. The high collar framed his neck elegantly, and the subtle embroidery along the cuffs caught the light with every small movement.
