Chapter 237 - Izumi Miyamura: Xover - Chapter 230

Author's Notes: Chapter edited and corrected by Vongrak.

I looked at Chisaki while gritting my teeth, without taking my eyes off her and completely imperceptibly I pulled my scroll out from inside the sleeves of my Kimono, immediately made an emergency call to all the heroes involved in a group call and immediately muted her.

"Do?" Chisaki asked, ignoring the cries for help below us. "I just did my job," she said dully. "I needed money. The League of Villains hired me to do something. I did my part, they did theirs," Chisaki said dismissively.

"And this was just a job?! Hiding a broken door beneath your headquarters, luring monsters out of the dungeon, and then fusing them with people you kidnapped from all over the world?! Is creating such abominations just a job for you? They're still alive! They're suffering! " I exclaimed forcefully before gritting my teeth. I didn't even have to feign my words to warn the others; I was truly furious about what Chisaki had done. She just bowed her head.

" Yes," she said dully. "The League of Villains sent me the test subjects. I don't know why the League of Villains wanted some specimens of monsters fused with humans, and I don't really care. I just needed their money."

"The ones down there are the scraps they didn't want. I was going to get rid of them, but... why not use them? At least those pests will have some use." Chisaki said, looking down as if she were looking at garbage.

I frowned deeply. Did the League want samples of fused humans and monsters? Why? I couldn't sense anyone from the League of Villains around, so they definitely weren't here, as happened in the canon, but I guess it made sense, Shigaraki wasn't the leader anymore, with Garaki in charge, the League's plans would be different.

But the problem remained: why on earth did they want monsters fused with humans? The only thing I could think of was the damn Hound from RWBY, a grimm created by Salem from a faunus with silver eyes as its core.

Did Garaki want to create something similar? Did she want to improve her Nomus somehow by adding dungeon monsters to them? Was there something different? Was I missing something? There was something I was missing, but I didn't know what, and it was nagging at me in the back of my mind.

"Waste? It seems that was your mistake, I thought you'd have better control over your quirk." I said dryly, Chisaki just shrugged.

"Monsters are unknown to me, I couldn't care less, fusing them with people mutates them in that way, what a waste of good material." Chisaki said dismissively.

"You're a monster." I said coldly, Chisaki didn't even flinch.

"I'm only doing what's necessary to cure this era of the disease that plagues it," Chisaki said before narrowing her eyes. "Now, give me back Eri," Chisaki said coldly. "And I'll undo the damage they've done," Chisaki said, pointing downwards. "One for the sake of many, it should be an obvious decision for a hero, shouldn't it? " Chisaki sneered.

"You're right... the answer is simple." I said softly, looking at Chisaki. She almost seemed pleased. "I just have to save them all, right? " I asked coldly. Chisaki stopped short of sneering.

"And how will you do that? I'm the only one who can undo what I've done," Chisaki said coldly.

That was a lie.

Eri was able to reverse the damage, but she wouldn't be able to control her quirk, and she definitely wouldn't be able to use it on so many monsters, and furthermore, she wasn't going to use it that way, so it was immediately ruled out.

I immediately looked at each of the mutant monsters; I could easily see inside them. Their entire interior was a complete mess. There were organs where they shouldn't be, or they were only half-formed, or they weren't functioning properly. In addition, everything was interconnected between the person and the monster.

I definitely couldn't separate them in any way, nor did I believe that a healer, even someone like Shimizu Akari, could heal them. Maybe Panacea? She was the only one I could think of who had the ability to reverse something like this.

The question is, how do I stop all the monsters? I could see them staring at me, almost waiting for me to get close so they could attack. Even if their human parts seemed to react slightly, the part that was monstrous would force them to attack me immediately.

I couldn't pull everyone into my shadows, not with Eri in them, and I couldn't leave. I couldn't risk Chisaki freeing them and them coming to the surface. At a glance, I could see they were all above rank B; the police on the surface would be massacred immediately.

I bit my lip. We needed a quirk copier. The only thing I could think of was Neito Monoma, but he didn't exist here, at least not at UA. Or… a mind controller. Hitomi Shinso, maybe she could force Chisaki to cancel her quirks.

I sighed, it was all just speculation, nothing real. I took out my scroll and put it to my ear while turning the sound on again.

"You heard it." I simply said to the heroes on the other end of the line. Chisaki opened her eyes slightly before narrowing them as she glared at me.

"How many are there?" Aizawa asked directly, his voice tense.

"Around 600." I said immediately, I could hear more than one grunt on the other end of the phone, along with some muffled noises.

"Can you stop them without killing them?" Aizawa asked directly.

"The monsters won't be a problem, and Chisaki even less so. I don't want to think of Eri as bait, but Chisaki wants her. She won't leave here without her, and that means staying by my side until she kills me, if she can even manage it." I mocked Chisaki, and she just glared at me.

"Do it, we're going." Aizawa said without hesitation. I just hummed and dropped my scroll into my shadows once more, then smiled at Chisaki.

"So, that's how it is." I said playfully. I took out Wado Ichimonji and placed it between my teeth, then grabbed Enma with my free hand. "Come and get me." I said with a wide grin before stopping jumping and starting to fall to the ground.

"Damn it." Chisaki growled, but she still didn't move from where she was, she just glared at me with hatred.

The monsters roared as I drew closer, many of them still wailing and crying out for help, but their monstrous side began to roar and they lunged at me. I moved as soon as I touched the ground.

My eyes scanned the monsters, where they all were, where their organs were, which ones were vital, which ones weren't, and then I moved. My swords sliced through the monsters' limbs, blood gushing out before a Jackalope emerged from my shadows and stopped the bleeding as they collapsed, incapacitated, to the ground.

What disturbed me most, though, was that the monsters could still use their human quirks, albeit in a very clumsy and destructive way, but they could.

I danced around the monsters with ease; no abomination created was strong enough to pose a problem, so it was easy to quickly incapacitate them while keeping Chisaki within my field of vision.

With each step I took, another group of monsters was incapacitated, and then I moved on to the next. I moved quickly, leaving a trail of completely incapacitated monsters in my wake.

After a few seconds, Chisaki seemed to tire of watching, or perhaps she realized they definitely weren't going to defeat me, so she dropped into the same pit filled with monsters. I frowned as she tumbled around the monsters I had already incapacitated. I moved quickly in her direction, but the sheer number of monsters slowed me down enough for Chisaki to reach two monsters on the ground.

Both exploded in blood before Chisaki almost instantly reunited them. Monsters and humans were joined together, but it didn't stop there. Chisaki touched another monster, and her new creation exploded again, joining them once more.

I gritted my teeth as I moved toward Chisaki with Godspeed, appearing beside her, only for a massive fist from the new aberrant monstrosity Chisaki had created to appear next to her. I contorted my body to avoid the blow, twisted around the arm, and attacked the monster. Its hide resisted more than the previous monsters, and it tried to attack me again.

An A Rank.

I couldn't let her keep combining monsters; if she ever reached S-rank, she'd be a huge nuisance. I spun around once more, used more force, and severed the arms again—all dozen arms and legs the monster had—then turned and kicked the body away from us.

Chisaki lunged at me, her hand close enough that I had to dodge. I resisted the urge to block her attack; it was an extremely bad idea. I really didn't want Mai, and I certainly didn't want my swords completely shattered by a single touch from Chisaki.

I ducked slightly, dodging Chisaki's attack. I let my aura envelop my swords in addition to my haki. With Divine Dog, my aura had acquired more offensive properties, enough to be able to tear and destroy monsters and other auras more easily.

My swords moved swiftly, Thirteen Form, my blades danced at great speed, striking the same spot on Chisaki's arm several times, right where I had already tried to cut it. This time, Chisaki's aura pierced easily, and her severed arm flew off. Still with the same momentum and speed, I moved to cut her other arm, just as I saw her single hand move slightly.

The only reason I saw the movement was because I was paying attention to her hands; it was such a tiny movement I almost missed it. Chisaki gently brought her thumb and forefinger together, then she exploded in blood.

My eyes opened wide, I could feel her aura disappearing before reappearing once again, a hand appeared right above my face, then continued reforming Chisaki's body, once again with both arms.

I jerked my head back urgently. I moved my hands and turned my head to swing and attack with my swords upwards; all three attacks focused on the same spot, managing to pierce her aura once more and cut her arm once again.

But as soon as I finished cutting off the arm, Chisaki exploded in blood once again and regenerated. One of her hands tried to push me down; the position was too uncomfortable for me to move and react. I let myself fall into my shadows and dispersed them, causing Chisaki to touch the ground.

I appeared behind Chisaki and attacked her arm again. I cut it off once more, but it was useless as Chisaki exploded in blood again and regenerated.

All this exchange happened in a few moments; finally, the monsters around us surrounded us and got close enough to attack us.

No. To attack me.

For some reason, they were completely ignoring Chisaki and charged in my direction. I gritted my teeth as I moved around the monsters, slashing and severing limbs and avoiding killing them.

I tried to kick and push them away to stop Chisaki from using them, but in the few moments I was distracted, Chisaki had already fused several of the monsters back into one larger one. I gritted my teeth.

I moved, circled around the monsters, and appeared behind Chisaki. Her head spun around immediately, but her body didn't follow. I kicked Chisaki hard upward. Chisaki let out a cry of pain as she was launched several meters into the air.

I jumped into the air and approached to attack her. Chisaki stared at me and moved to try to attack me. I just moved my swords and hit her arms to move them. From one of my sleeves came Orochi, began to grow and tightly enveloped Chisaki avoiding her hands.

Just as I was about to restrain her, Chisaki exploded in blood again before regenerating next to Orochi. One of her hands was on my snake and made it explode into shadows. I could feel Orochi's essence returning inside me as she was killed.

I punched the air, I launched myself towards Chisaki once more, she tried to hit me, but I wasn't fast enough in the air, so her attempts were clumsy, I dodged it with ease, I spun in the air and hit her head with my heel, hard enough to try to knock her unconscious.

The instant my heel struck her head, Chisaki exploded in blood and regenerated instantly. I clicked my tongue.

Bastard! Why was she so difficult to defeat?! She didn't have Haki, or at least she hadn't used it until now. In fact, she didn't even know how to fight, not really. She wasn't even fast moving from side to side. Her only movements were trying to touch anything with her hands, which, I admit, when her power was so dominant, was horribly effective.

Especially since, despite her movement speed not being fast, her hands and reactions were incredibly swift, to a terrifying degree. She could react to my movements, and her hands were capable of moving so fast that I was constantly dodging. Her quirk regeneration was almost instantaneous, and her body could appear in any position she wanted, which was incredibly annoying.

I really didn't expect Chisaki to be so non-squeamish about practically committing suicide to regenerate.

Trying to knock her unconscious wouldn't work if she saw the attack coming; she'd just regenerate before it even landed. I couldn't kill her, so I needed to disable her. I needed to cut off both her hands at the same time. After all, it would be easy to heal her afterward with Round Deer or someone with a healing quirk strong enough to force her to undo her creations.

But I didn't see an easy way to do it. Chisaki didn't attack with both hands at the same time; in fact, she always attacked with one and hid the other behind her body, far enough away that I couldn't reach her immediately and take cover behind her body to protect her hand. That way, she had more than enough time to regenerate.

Her reactions were fast enough, and her ability to activate her quirk simply by joining her fingers meant that she could activate her quirk instantly.

I clicked my tongue as I fell to the ground. I'd have to wait for Aizawa to come. I felt a pang of irritation at the thought, but it was the easiest way to defeat Chisaki.

I let my Piercing OX emerge from my shadows and immediately killed it, I removed the Totality from the Divine Dog, then grabbed both of them along with Orochi and released my swords and joined my hands as I summoned the Nue and pushed everything into the summoning.

My shadows bubbled, and a female figure emerged from them. She was almost twice my height, yet quite slender. Her legs were those of a bull, black and hairy, complete with hooves. Her upper body, however, was covered in feathers, and the figure appeared slightly hunched forward. She had a truly terrifying wolf's head, her hands were tipped with wolf claws, and finally, she had a tail ending in a snake's head.

"Merged Beast Agito, First Version." I said with a wild grin as I gripped my swords again. Well, it was time for round two.

Author's Notes : Agito is here! or a version of it!

First, some calculations: performing a Totality on ONE specific shikigami, where the rest of the other 8 Shikigamis (leaving Maho out) are pushed onto it in different variations, gives 2295 different fusions (counting from 1 extra to the 8 extra), even if we take fusing by sacrificing at least 3 shikigamis to achieve something with the power similar to the Agito Canon, it is still 1917 fusions.

Even if we disregard the specific initial Shikigami part and let the random summons form the same, it still gives a total of 502 fusions in the first case and 382 in the second.

So… there are too many to name them all, they'll all be called Agito and only the version will be changed, because I'm just that lazy!

Now about Overhaul, really, it's such a ridiculously strong quirk that Overhaul himself had to be nerfed by being germophobic.
