In the Ou and Huo families, naming the baby has now become a major event.
Old comrades and good in-laws, Huo Zhongcheng and Ou Zhenting, have been flipping through dictionaries since the child was born.
In three rounds, they came up with a total of eighteen names, each supposedly cultured and meaningful.
Then, they rejected them all for various reasons like "such-and-such name is too casual," "XX name sounds bad," "XX name isn't unique enough," etc.
In the middle of all this, Huo Zhongcheng even visited Professor Bao to ask for his help in naming the child.
In the end, Huo Zhongcheng felt that the names given by Professor Bao were too complicated and difficult to write, worrying that the child might struggle to learn them in the future.
Huo Zhongcheng's hesitation exasperated Professor Bao so much that he asked him to leave.
As of now, the child still hasn't been given a name.
So for the time being, everyone just calls him "baby."
