Parents? That certainly was not the right word to define Sergio Dela Torre.
As I watched him push the young Jade into a fight against an adult, shouting the vital points that should be targeted to kill the opponent faster, instead of teaching him otherwise, I just knew I was hearing things, or perhaps mistaken.
This kid before me looked naive, soft, and damn expressive. There was no way this one was raised by that man.
So I blinked my eyes, tilted my head to the side, and patted my ears on the other, as if shaking dust out of them.
"Come again? You said the master of this house is your parents, yeah? Then what's your father's name?"
