Chapter 1 - 1- A Sparda meet a Gojo

A sparda meet a gojo

Under the glistening light of the full moon, the city of Tokyo lay vibrant with a myriad of nightlife. A city that never sleeps, filled with many known and unknown things.

At one of the tallest buildings in this city, a young man with pure white hair sat comfortably with a casual smile. His sky-blue eyes reflected the city below him.

"Yeah, yeah. I know those senile old men are furious, I don't care." Gojo Satoru, the strongest sorcerer of the modern era, casually said through his phone.

"If the Zenin Clan want him, they will have to go through me." A casual statement, but one that held immense weight.

Having recently taken over as head of the Gojo Clan, and with his title as the strongest, even one of Japan's three great sorcerer families couldn't look down on him.

Everyone knew, if Gojo was really upset, he would slaughter that entire family with no one being able to stop him.

Ending the call, Gojo stood up. Straightening his back, with his hands in his pockets, he leaped off the building.

His body began falling at immense speed, but then he vanished.

He leaped through the city at astonishing speed. If anyone saw him, they would swear it was a ghost.

On his way back to Tokyo Jujutsu High, the white-haired sorcerer slowed his travel at a surge of energy in a nearby forest.

"That's not cursed energy."

The Six Eyes, one of Gojo's greatest gifts, instantly located the source of that energy and its nature.

Cursed energy was the fundamental force of anything supernatural in this world. If it wasn't being used, something else was being used.

Halting, Gojo changed his direction and headed toward the source at maximum speed. As if teleporting, he reached his destination in seconds, only to see a quite unique display of grit.

Confusion.....

How else must Vergil explain his state of mind at the moment while fending off numerous demon-looking monsters?

In the beginning, he was John Clarke, an average young man who had just graduated college. He had made his way through the hectic process of medical school and graduated with honors.

He was finally about to start his career that would skyrocket him into wealth while helping people, when a drunk taxi driver slammed into him.

John recalled his body being bent in some ridiculous position before losing consciousness.

That should have been the end... The end... but no...

He woke up in the body of a fictional character. Unsure if it was the game version or the recently introduced Netflix version, John had only seen the latter, but that was beside the point.

He was now Vergil Sparda, the half-breed son of the Dark Knight who betrayed the demon realm for humans and the older twin brother of Dante.

Vergil had just lost his mother and was being tortured by his mother's killer in Mundus' dungeon when John's memories surfaced.

Transmigration, body snatching... It didn't matter. He was both Vergil and John at the moment.

At the point of being burned alive, the dungeon shook with bright blue energy, causing spatial fissures to appear. It sucked in everything in the dungeon.

The demons and Vergil.

Where the demons went, Vergil didn't know, but he was now in another unfamiliar place.

A forest, surrounded by grotesque monsters that seemed intent on eating him.

Still half-scorched from the previous torture, Vergil pushed his half-demon body to the very limit. He moved far faster and was more agile than any human, dodging each attack and replying with a fist or kick of his own.

He held off several monsters he later learned were cursed spirits with all his might. His breath grew shorter and sweat poured from his body despite the cold night breeze.

Vergil was doing quite well surviving until his stamina fell short, and he slipped over thin air.

His body went rolling on the ground, accelerated by an attack to his gut.

Through a nearby tree he went, breaking several more behind it before landing in a small crater.

The cursed spirits took this moment while he was down to attack once more.

Having appeared mid-fight, Gojo had been observing the desperate attempts of the boy with interest.

'A miniature Toji that looks like me?' Gojo summarized, before setting up a cursed sign to help the boy.

Help, the boy apparently didn't need.

Gojo watched, his Six Eyes widening as the space at the boy's side trembled. From Gojo's perspective, something was ripping the space apart.

It revealed itself to be a long, beautifully decorated black sword with gold circuit markings on its hilt and sheath.

The boy, now feeling the weight in his hands, didn't hesitate.

He gripped the sword, its name instantly appearing in his mind.

"Enma," Vergil called out, removing the sheath as the blade blazed alive. Silvery-blue light shone from the blade as he swung out.

Gojo watched with amazement as everything in that blade's path was cleaved in half, reducing half the forest to rubble, let alone the few cursed spirits that couldn't react in time.

Feeling Infinity tremble at the sight, Gojo became cautious as he stepped forward. He watched the boy slowly slip to his knees while the sword vanished into blue light.

Vergil caught sight of Gojo, but with his mind drained, he slowly lost consciousness.

"What did I find?" Gojo pondered, hands in pockets as he analyzed the surroundings.

He caught sight of a small blue rift where the blade's energy last hit, but the rift quickly closed.

This wasn't cursed energy. It was something else, and it could bypass Infinity with ease.
