He claimed with a reddened face as White chuckled.

"Now get the fuck away from here, or you wanna take his place?"
He said, turning back slightly to look at the fat boy still pressed on the wall, snorts and tears, but his wailing had paused from White's entrance.

A slap landed across his fat face, and the boy howled up in tears.
"Okay, that's enough. Imma need you all to back off from him."

The young man with the cigarette claimed, pointing at White.
"Knew what?"

"Why else would you want to save some fat ass pig? You're after his fat ass after all."

The fat boy wailed even louder.

White roared in anger.

The system's mocking echoed in his head, and White clapped his face in exasperation.

The cigarette boy claimed before turning to the three guys behind him.

He ordered, and the boys rose, slowly walking past him, then sprinting towards White.

White said, closing his eyes and exhaling.
When he opened his eyes, he watched three fists flying towards his face.

He ordered, and in the next moment, all three faces immediately changed.
It was like trying to punch through sinking mud.
They watched their hands slowly slow down, the air getting heavier and heavier the harder they pressed on, and soon enough, all three punches came to hang 10 centimeters away from White's face.

Standing there and watching fists flying forward, his instinct was to dodge, yet he didn't listen, and no harm came upon him.
It created this weird feeling of dopamine in his brain, making him chuckle uncontrollably.

The words rang in White's ear, and he immediately snapped his gaze forward, where he saw the cigarette boy with eyes glowing green.

The three others punching him immediately ran off when they saw the attack, and even White's face gained a bit of seriousness, though he remained unmoving.

The boy said with a click of his tongue as a smile tugged open on White's lips.
By the side of his head, a small cut slowly appeared, a line of blood dripping out.
"You broke through the barrier... interesting."
White mused, though now he understood how it worked.
'Limitless Interval slows down attacks, not stops them. The punches didn't reach me, not because Limitless stopped the attack.'
'It slowed them down, and the boys don't have enough momentum to fully drive through, because they didn't put any awakened energy in their fists.'

He asked, White, who replied by raising his right hand, his fingers slowly taking the shape of a gun.

The boy, after struggling for seconds, failed to resist anymore, and even he himself was sent flying forward, colliding with the three guys.
