Orion narrowed his eyes, his tone dead serious.
"If we don't break down this intel and draw some hard conclusions, things will go south fast. My parasite root, though undetected, triggered a mild rejection. Those natural disasters? Just symptoms." He paused, his voice growing heavier. "Bro, we're overlooking the biggest piece of the puzzle. This Temple of Terminus is a masterwork. It can mask our presence completely. Don't you want to know who built it?"
"Whoever had the power to forge this place," Orion continued, "I guarantee they had other ways to deal with the Zeythan Dreadfin Race. So why build this sealing temple at all?"
"Bro," Leonidas began, having stared at the floor in deep thought for a long while before looking up with utter seriousness. "I know of a world that also has a conduit to the Void. Do you think I could copy your method exactly?"
It was a blunt, honest question. And it stumped Orion.
