Thorn's expression turned serious at her words—though inwardly, he was relieved to be of use. He wasn't useless after all, and he vowed to investigate even a fly that entered the school.
"I'll go there right away," he muttered, his voice tinged with impatience, which made Elora's brows rise slightly.
"It's not that urgent. We have to get you some thick clothes before you catch a cold.'' Elora cut his wrist and pushed him back into his seat.
"Oh…" That sound was filled with so much disappointment as it left his lips, making Elora doubt whether there was something rare hidden in the school she was unaware of.
"That child is going to show us around the city today, and we'll shop along the way. I don't know if he's here already," Elora muttered, just realizing they had an appointment with the boy they met at the city gate.
