No surprises here. The second his body finished that transformation, Physique jumped from 40 to 41. Gap to Spirit shrank from 5 points down to 4.
Seimei closed his eyes and felt it: the crushing pressure his overclocked spirit had been putting on his flesh eased off, just a little, but enough to breathe.
A feral grin tugged at his lips.
He'd calculated this months ago. Knew he could squeak in under the wire before his own power tore him apart from the inside. Still, seeing it actually happen? Sweet relief.
We're not talking some half-assed seal to duct-tape the problem. This was real balance. One point closer to harmony, and the dominoes would keep falling exactly how he wanted.
He exhaled hard, rolled the tension out of his shoulders, then slid his gaze over to the chakra column.
Four and a half months of grinding paid off: another 3.25 million chakra cap. Officially cracked the 30-million ceiling. Small flex, but he'll take it.
That extra juice also let him spawn twenty more bloodline-net clones. Yeah, it costs him an extra 3 million per day, but the development speed went stupid.
Every single Kekkei Genkai and Kekkei Tōta riding the bloodline-net passive got a fat boost.
Old rates (full throttle):
Wood/Lava/Ice/Storm → ~9 points/day
Dust → ~7.5/day
After Rinnegan spirit spike and jumping from 160 → 200 clones:
→ 11 and 9/day
Now with 220 clones:
→ 12.5 and 10/day
That's a clean 33% faster than when he started this grind. No wonder Wood Style shot up 1,400+ points in four months, then snagged another few hundred freebies from the physique evolution.

Less than 300 points left.
At 12.5/day? Twenty-two days, tops.
Add that to the four and a half months already sunk: total five months and change. He called his shot at "under eight months" back then. Looks like he's gonna beat his own deadline by a mile.
Fucking beautiful.
The others (Lava, Ice, etc.) still need thousands of points each, so no evolution parties for them anytime soon. Whatever. Wood first, the rest can wait.
Byakugan crawled a little, Chakra Refining ticked up a bit: normal background noise.
Time to test the real goodies this transformation dropped.
First up: theoretical chakra cap increase.
Seimei took a slow, deep breath, centered himself, then floored the Chakra Refining Technique and watched the panel like a hawk.
Half an hour later he cut it off, cross-referenced the numbers, and did the math.
Result? Roughly 80 million extra theoretical chakra capacity.
Eighty. Million.
Last time Physique went 39 → 40 (a qualitative leap, mind you), he only got 60 million.
This jump was bigger by a clean 20 million, even though it "shouldn't" have been.
Took him all of two seconds to figure out why.
Four months ago, Rinnegan spiked his Spirit by +5. But because Physique was lagging so hard, a chunk of that potential got choked out. He literally said back then: "Close the gap and the suppressed potential will unlock."
Guess what just unlocked.
"Nice," he muttered, smirking like he'd robbed a bank.
Next test: passive recovery speed.
He killed the refining technique, sat still, and watched the current chakra counter climb on its own.
Ten minutes later: +1,704,167
Extrapolated to 24 hours: 245.4 million/day
That's 40 million more per day than before.
Again, last transformation only gave him 30 million/day. This one handed him an extra 10 million on top.
Same reason: balance restored = suppressed potential released.
Still…
Even with that juicy +40 million/day, he's still bleeding chakra.
Current daily deficit:
- Original shortfall: 48.732 million
- +6 million (160 → 200 bloodline clones after Rinnegan)
- +3 million (200 → 220 clones after latest cap bump)
Grand total: 57.732 million/day in the red
Forty million recovery boost barely puts a dent in that hole.
He's still losing almost 18 million net every single day.
Seimei stared at the numbers, tongue pressed against the back of his teeth.
"Tch… greedy bastard clones," he growled under his breath, but the corners of his mouth twitched upward.
Because even with the deficit? He's stronger than yesterday.
Wood Style evolution in three weeks.
Physique creeping closer to Spirit every transformation.
And the suppressed potential from Rinnegan is finally starting to bleed out into raw power.
He'll figure out the chakra bleed later.
For now?
Progress tastes pretty damn sweet.
