"Haa... haa... haa..." Keith and Kiro breathed heavily. At this moment, they were both in their human forms, with large beads of sweat rolling down their faces.
They had spent close to an hour killing those weird creatures. They looked like rats, except they were several times larger, with elongated mouths filled with razor-sharp teeth and completely bare skin. Their pink flesh was enough to give both Keith and Kiro nightmares.
"So... shall we continue?" Kiro asked, his breathing heavy.
Keith laughed from the side.
"Sure... I can do this all day."
The two immediately collapsed onto the ground.
At this point, they were completely drained. Their bodies barely contained any energy.
Yet before they could even relax, the grass was suddenly torn apart as more beasts charged toward them.
"Well, fuck me..." Keith muttered.
Kiro couldn't help but laugh.
