Achievements can be achieved in any form. Killing the enemy is an achievement, learning a skill is an achievement, creating a skill is an achievement, pushing your body past its limit is an achievement, even something as little as discovering something new is an achievement. However even achievements varies.
For example, if an ant kills an elephant, the achievement the ant gains will be greater that an elephant killing an ant.
Remains: this is the power or experience as people would like to call it, but it isn't. It is absorbed by the winner over a defeated.
Realms: this how people are ranked according to their strengths and power. Basically power ranking:

Mana: this is the energy generaly used by everything. It is the jack of of trade of energy.
Dream: this is the energy used in the Mind world.
Spirit: this is the energy perfect for the spiritual matters like healing, buffing, necromancy, soul sacrifice.
