"Damn, man," Dylan said as he walked beside Liam across the academy grounds, his tone somewhere between disbelief and amusement. "I get that they called it a break, but seriously… you can't just disappear into your room like that and only come out on the last day."
Liam gave a slight shrug, his expression unchanged as his gaze remained forward.
Dylan stared at him for a moment, then shook his head, a grin slowly spreading across his face as he looked away. "Yeah… I guess I shouldn't be surprised," he muttered. "You never change."
They fell into a brief silence after that, their footsteps steady against the stone path as students passed them in both directions. The contrast around them was clear—second and third years moving casually in their own clothes, relaxed and familiar with the environment, while the first years stood out in their freshly issued uniforms, still adjusting, still learning how to exist in this place.
