"Let's go meet him!" the commander decided after a brief hesitation.
He could sense that this terrifying man meant them no harm. If he had ill intentions, he wouldn't have helped wipe out the alien invaders and beasts.
At the entrance of the city, a large group of soldiers had already gathered.
"Lower your weapons!" the commander shouted. He knew that firearms and bullets wouldn't pose any threat to Yefan; pointing them at him might even provoke him.

His expression darkened. Everyone else's pictures had been in color, but his parents' were gray.

"Gray means they've left the city," the commander said upon seeing Yefan's reaction.
"Left the city?" Yefan was stunned. He instinctively clicked on the profiles and found detailed information, including entry and exit records.
"They left last week… headed for Tianyun City?"
Yefan frowned. He hadn't expected them to go to another city.
"Where is Tianyun City?" he asked the commander.
"It's to the north, about two hundred kilometers from here," the commander explained.
