"I'll go with you," he said after some thought, turning to Yefan.
"I'm familiar with the higher-ups over there. Now that all the communication networks are down, it's hard to get any news to them," Wu Yifan continued.
"Alright," Yefan agreed after a brief moment of consideration, nodding.
"Wait a moment, I'll go get the off-road vehicle," Wu Yifan said, intending to find a way to navigate the many damaged roads where ordinary cars couldn't pass.
"No need, we'll fly directly," Yefan responded casually.

Wu Yifan was stunned.
In the next moment, his body was lifted into the air! Wu Yifan's eyes widened, filled with shock.

Nearby, others saw Wu Yifan floating into the sky, and their faces were similarly filled with astonishment.
"Zhang Qianxian," Yefan called out, looking in a certain direction as his body slowly levitated.
Zhang Qianxian, who was standing nearby, hurried over.

Suddenly, a massive explosion rang out from the distance. The air was thick with dust, the aftermath of the blast.
"Lian City is under attack too?" Wu Yifan said in shock as he witnessed the scene.
"Let's take a look," Yefan replied, focusing his mind as he sped toward the city.
With his energy circulating at full capacity, Yefan's speed was astounding. In a blink, they had reached the outskirts of Lian City.
From his vantage point, Yefan could clearly see the soldiers firing relentlessly at the invading aliens and beasts. Bullets poured down on them, but many of the creatures were unaffected.
"So many alien invaders?" Yefan's eyes narrowed as he scanned the scene below.
There were at least a hundred thousand alien invaders. For humanity, such a number was a nightmare.
These alien beings were vastly different from humans. Their massive physiques and formidable strength allowed them to resist even bullets.
"You'll stay up here for now. Don't worry, you won't fall," Yefan said calmly, gripping his sword.

"I'm going down to slaughter those aliens," Yefan said with a cold smile.
