Just as Brit was approaching the exit door, noises suddenly came from somewhere outside the hall. The sound was extremely loud and violent. Just hearing it, Brit made his own judgment.
"Those are helicopters!" Brit murmured subconsciously and looked up at the huge dome above the hall.
The viewers also heard the deafening noise. After the initial shock, the viewers expressed their surprise in the comment:
"Damn, there's already a fight!"
"I really want to see what's happening outside, it must be fun!"
"Brit, let's go!"
"It's definitely the Lizard! I think it's the only one that could force the Foundation into a battle like this!"
"The 'Old Man' and the 'Shy Guy' aren't weak either, remember? But those two aren't outside right now, so the one outside is probably the Lizard!"
Brit didn't pay attention to the chat. He stared solemnly at the dome, and the tension rose. Undoubtedly, the greater the commotion outside, the more serious the situation had become. This also meant it would be even harder for him.
Brit watched for a few seconds, then suddenly heard a massive disturbance coming from the exit gate. It sounded like buildings being torn apart. Brit was startled and instinctively looked toward the exit gate. This was instinctive.
But when Brit actually saw the exit gate, he suddenly realized that what he had done was probably wrong. He immediately prepared to look away. However, just as he was about to avert his gaze, he froze again. Because he realized that he no longer needed to look away.
Near the exit gate, a huge gap had appeared in what was once a thick, solid wall. It looked as if it had been smashed open, and both the 'Old Man' and the 'Shy Guy' had disappeared. It could be inferred that the hole had been made by them. However, even though they had already left, the shrill voices of the 'Shy Guy' continued to echo from deep within the massive gap.
Brit instinctively swallowed, but the tight knot in his mind slowly loosened! No matter what, it was extremely beneficial for him when those two had gone outside to fight the Foundation personnel. At least he could avoid them for a while.
"Everyone, for the time being, it's safe. Let's keep moving!" Brit exhaled softly and spoke in a low voice. Then, without reading the chat's response, he stepped forward resolutely.
Fortunately, Brit didn't encounter any unexpected situations this time, so he reached the exit without incident. Of course, throughout these steps, the distant roaring and the ever-fading shrieks continued to echo. These sounds made it clear that the current site base was still extremely dangerous, so he couldn't afford to let his guard down.
Thankfully, he was about to pass through the exit, meaning he was one step closer to ending the game. Thinking of this, Brit couldn't help but let out a long sigh of relief.
However, just as Brit relaxed inwardly, a cold broadcast voice suddenly rang out from the upper corner of the hall: "The Alpha Warhead emergency detonation procedure is engaged, with the underground section of the facility detonating in t-minus *** seconds. All personnel are advised to board the nearest helicopter or enter the nearest blast shelter immediately."
