Chapter 6 - New skill

I need to go out, cover up my wounds the boss is really difficult to deal with. But I heard someone calling me.

Anya approached, asking me if I was fine or anything injured aside from the cut I made, Anya kept forcing me to come with her just to cover up my wounds and she gave me a potion that I could recover my health.

Her father told me that, it seems Anya is really interested in me, but should I really tell her that I like someone?

Sigh, I don't want anya, continue to like me it seems I need to leave until I finish in this school or I need to drop out.

"Lucas you're losing your thoughts in the air"

"Ah, I'm sorry it's just I'm not used to it"

Is it nighttime already? It seems everyone is preparing to go back, so I should prepare my things too. After getting out of the car I met Henry.

"Henry what are you doing here?"

"Right, I forgot to tell you that I'm also a professor in this academy that's why you get in without any worries"

"Ah, I'm here to give this skill although it might help you in the arena if you're going to fight soon"

He left in a hurry, so I went back to my dorm and rested after all those days had passed. My body is sore that I couldn't move any of my bones.

I went to my room and lay on my bed, I forgot that what if I should train all of my skills. I guess my priorities to raise the rank of skill ,,, and are all F rank except for , which is B rank, I will do it tomorrow I'm kinda sleepy right now.

I went to school, however, I passed by the bulletin board and saw a notice that said in a few months everyone should prepare for Arena to win the ranking and honor.

Should I really attend today? Or should I go to the dungeon to increase the rank of the skill, while I was thinking about what I should choose?

I saw Anya walking with his brother and apologized for what happened in the past few days and he gave me a wand.

This wand isn't just made of wood it's made of various materials, I was telling her brother that it's fine he doesn't have to give me a gift.

I decided that I should go first in the classroom, when I arrived it seemed everyone was talking about the arena.

The professor arrived telling us that we were not going to school for a month and should prepare for up coming arena.

I called Henry to asked to pick me up and help me to increase my skills and find a suitable dungeon.

I waited for a few minutes and I saw Anya with her classmate, she saw me and she asked.

"Hey, Lucas who are you waiting for?"

"Ahh, a friend of mine"

"Is that so, right I was gonna ask you if you want to come with me next week"

"Where are we gonna for?"

"I'll tell you next week"

She left just like that, I went home so I could rest for a hours it seems Henry is gonna take hours to get here.

When I was waiting, I searched the site for skill books for a mage, since there are a lot of kinds of skills. While I was scrolling I saw a skill book ,, and .

I ran out of money should I ask Henry to buy this skill, I really need a skill similar to a mage to not be suspicious in the arena.

Henry suddenly called, I answered, and he asked me where I was. I went outside and it seems we're prepared to go.

"How's your day going in this academy?"

"It's kinda pretty hard, the professors are strict to its rules".

"Hmm, really, ah I'm here to give you a skill"

"Again, your to kind for that Henry"

"The skill books are underneath your seats".

It dealt 300% damage total stats of you're [Int] to an enemy

heals yourself or your ally by 200 and consumes mana by 75, consuming 30 mana per 150 if it continues to heal

"She's fine, she still needs to rest properly, she might discharge in a month so she's going to attend this academy so I'm gonna ask you I want you to help adapt to this environment and improve her ability".

It's been a while since I last visited her in the hospital, I already miss her it seems I still like her even though we're just total strangers.

[A few hours later]

"Lucas where here it seems you've been asleep for an hour."

"Ah, sorry I'm so tired so I went to sleep"

"Hmm, is that so, by the way what are you going to do inside the dungeon?"

"I'm going to raise my rank skill, within a month I'm going to participate in the arena to obtain the skill I want"

"I guess, good luck with that, Lucas I'm going to wait outside"

Henry park his car and I went inside the dungeon however the environment are extremely cold, I didn't prepare for this, still I continue going deep in the dungeon but why there's no monster in surrounding area, I use my skill I climb onto the tree however after climbing the tree a wolf packs are hiding in the bush, it's seems they're waiting for me to fall in their trap.

I keep looking for their leader, because their leader has different strengths than ordinary wolves, I saw a big one and have big scratch in its eye, it looks like I can't just hit by normal weapon, the level of the leader are above 40 since my level is just 24.

The leader of the pack wolf notice that I disappear, the wolves start to follow my tracks, it seems I can't hide for too long here.

I use the < Fireball> quickly to attract some attention from the wolf and to attack the other wolf, I keep repeating the strategies it's seems the wolf attracts the attention and the leader of the wolf sudden use a skill to find my trace.

I quickly run since I can't just defeat the leader with a normal weapon since my skills are still low rank.

I use my skill ,, all my damage increases to 255% I use it seems it's effective on the wolf, I use it multiple times to fight the leader, and it seems it has a resistance to the fire type.

I used I successfully killed it.
