An intense dragon roar pierced the air as a True Dragon tore a Heavenly Puppet Sect Daoist Monarch in half. Its pale golden eyes warily glanced at the charging Lu Chong, and the sect disciples acting as his protectors. The dragon had no choice but to temporarily evade and retreat into the distance.
"My lord, the Human Clan knew of our plan long ago and were fully prepared. Our losses are immense."

A Demon Monarch, looking quite disheveled, returned to the Great Hall and knelt before the Dragon Clan's Demon Venerable, reporting.
