The Brief family home was quite quiet at night, with hardly any lights on. There were no guards on duty; several robots patrolled back and forth without ever seeming to tire.
By this point, Sansho had obtained two Dragon Balls. He killed the bear guarding the first Dragon Ball with a single blow, and he found the second Dragon Ball in a riverbed.
His actions had filled him with confidence, and as he flew over the cities of this world, he realized that the Earthlings were weak. He didn't hesitate to invade the building where he sensed another Dragon Ball.
He was the most inhuman of them all, with a cruel personality to match. When he realized there was no power in the house to rival his own, he attacked the front door with a Ki blast.
It was time for him to have some fun! As he licked his lips and fantasized about the screams of pain and fear he would inflict on the inhabitants, a fist covered in yellow lightning suddenly struck his face. He was sent flying dozens of meters backward.
"He actually dared to interrupt us," said Lazuli, the person who delivered the blow. She was adjusting the pink blouse she was wearing, her blonde hair tousled, and her neck covered in bruises.
"I'll let you handle him. He seems energetic, so be careful." Bulma gently wrapped her arms around her partner from behind and planted a deep kiss on his neck, leaving a mark similar to the ones he already had there.
Bulma stepped back and coldly stared at the demon who had quickly gotten to his feet. She felt disgusted by the guy. He had ruined both women's night, and now he would suffer for it!
Sansho touched his face, feeling uncomfortable. The blow hadn't hurt much, but it had made him feel humiliated. He looked at the two Earthlings in front of him and decided that what had happened wasn't entirely his fault. After all, he'd been ambushed!
"Hehehe, women! How nice! Hand over the Dragon Ball and surrender, or you'll suffer at my hands!" After laughing like a third-rate villain, Lazuli and Bulma simply blinked before bursting into laughter.
"HAHAHAHA! There really are people who talk just like in manga and comics!" Bulma burst out laughing, not caring about the enemy's scowl or his negative emotions.
"I'm sorry for fighting him. What if he's just a mental patient? You know, Bulma, we should take care of them and help them," Lazuli replied with feigned pity, wiping away nonexistent tears.
This only irritated Sansho more. He grew angrier and angrier until a sinister greenish aura emanated from his body. The plants in the front yard of Bulma's house, which her mother had tended so carefully, began to rot and emit foul odors just by reacting to his power.
"I hope you can keep laughing when my poison corrodes your insides and makes you vomit up the meaty sludge that will be left of you," the demon declared as he took a step forward, ready to end it all.
"Oh no, you ruined my mother-in-law's garden," Lazuli said, genuinely surprised and frightened by what was happening. Bulma looked all around, hoping not to see her mother.
"Lazuli, end this. I have to return everything to its normal state, or my mother will kill me." Bulma said this anxiously, since no matter how powerful and skilled she was, Bikini would always be above her.
In response to the blue-haired girl, the blonde's aura manifested as yellow lightning bolts that covered her body. The arcs of electricity remained docile, weaving over her skin like a cloak.
Empowered by her energy, Lazuli flew just above the ground and lunged at Sansho. The demon raised his fist, ready to respond with a direct attack rather than defend himself.
The collision of the two figures caused the ground to tremble slightly, sending dust flying. The resulting wind swept away the withered grass affected by the poison in Sansho's aura. As their energy fields clashed, Lazuli realized that the greenish aura was slowly tearing apart her cloak of lightning.
Although Sansho's body was burly, he was not lacking in speed or agility. He attacked Lazuli immediately after the clash, bringing his free palm down to slash her shoulder.
With her increased speed, the blonde managed to dodge the attack. However, this allowed the demon to kick her in the side, sending her flying and crashing into the ground several meters away.
Luckily, her cloak of lightning withstood the energetic corrosion. However, she noticed her energy consumption increased for a period before returning to normal. She realized how her enemy's strategy worked: either he poisoned his opponent or drained their energy.
He either poisoned his opponents or drained their energy. It was a fairly simple yet effective strategy. If Lazuli didn't want to experience poisoning and flesh corrosion, she had to constantly use energy to protect her body.
This would inevitably drain her energy as she defended herself and repaired areas damaged by the demon's attacks. Lazuli then felt she had to step up her game. She couldn't rely solely on physical attacks and standard combat techniques.
Without hesitation, she concentrated energy in her palms and fired a beam at Sansho. It wasn't just a projectile; she literally fired a beam similar to those covering her body.
The demon couldn't defend himself properly because the attack was so fast. The impact caused an explosion that wounded him and sent him staggering back several steps.
"They always do that when they realize how my poisonous energy works, so... I'm ready," said Sansho as he ran a hand over his body and brushed the dust off his clothes. The demon smiled as he lunged fiercely at the blonde.
Lazuli's nerves tingled from the current coursing through her. She controlled it finely to enhance her reaction-based abilities, causing the world to appear to slow down before her eyes.
She realized her enemy intended to pressure her constantly during the fight. However, she discerned a certain urgency in his eyes; he was likely watching for Bulma's moves.
'So, one wants to drag out the fight, and the other wants to end it quickly. Then, how about we drag a third party into it?' Lazuli thought cunningly as she ignited her aura and collided head-on with Sansho. When they clashed, she used the recoil to propel herself toward Bulma instead of continuing the collision.
"Bulma! If we finish this quickly, I'll let you..." Lazuli didn't finish her sentence, but used a small ki technique to transmit the rest directly into the blue-haired girl's ears.
What Bulma heard made her freeze, allowing Lazuli to float past her side. She barely noticed, but when she felt the wind pushed by Sansho, her eyes narrowed into a serious gaze.
"I suppose I should thank you..." An image appeared behind the woman: a version of Bulma with multiple wings on her back, wrists, and ankles, her eyes closed. The woman was being enveloped by a bluish glow of energy.
The garden's natural state recovered from the demon's poisonous influence under the influence of the projection and the energy surrounding the woman, though the surroundings were somewhat disordered. It recovered with far greater vigor than before.
"Angel Cannon!" Bulma shouted, pointing at Sansho. He had sensed the imminent threat and flown off in the opposite direction, trying to escape. However, the woman's arm transformed and began accumulating energy faster than he could.
A thick beam of energy was then fired at Sansho. He did his best to protect himself, but his quick reaction was no match for Bulma unleashing her full power without holding back.
His body was engulfed by wild ki, which tore him apart. However, Bulma controlled her energy so as not to destroy the two Dragon Balls that fell from her body. In fact, she used her psychic powers to catch them.
They had sensed that someone would come for these objects, so they stayed awake despite it being late at night. Out of boredom, they began to show affection for one another.
Bulma caught the mystical objects and noted that they were the one-star and three-star spheres. She stored the seven-star sphere in her lab because she had found it in a store window several days earlier.
"Ah, that guy must have known something. Too bad." Bulma realized that she hadn't gathered any information about the attacker's identity or whether he was acting on someone else's orders. Just as she began to debate how to handle the matter, Lazuli hugged her from behind.
"Thanks. Now, let me keep my promise," the blonde whispered, making Bulma blush. But the sound of her phone ringing in her pocket ruined the moment.
"Son Goku! I hope you have a really good reason for calling me right now!" Bulma shouted as soon as she answered the call, sending a chill down the spine of her younger brother, who was thousands of miles away.
"Wait! We were attacked by a demon. I know you have a Dragon Ball. They always come after them. I sensed a massive energy attack heading toward your house. I'm flying there right now," the Saiyan replied quickly, hoping this would calm Bulma down.
"Oh, really? Was it a demon? I thought it just looked peculiar. It had two Dragon Balls on its body. It sounds like it has information. Why don't you send it to me? Also, don't come over for about three hours. I'm busy," Bulma muttered. Goku was confused, but since she'd asked him to, he simply agreed and hung up.
Just as Bulma put her cell phone away, Lazuli threw herself at her, wrapping her arms around her neck and her legs around her waist. Their faces were just a few centimeters apart. Both had blue eyes, though slightly different shades. They stared intently at each other in silence.
"Three hours?" the blonde whispered, causing the blue-haired girl to nod. The two kissed gently. Amid the scent of flowers that had bloomed from the power of an interdimensional creature, the two expressed their love.
...
"So, you're telling me that Garlic Jr. sent his servants after the Dragon Balls? Wow," said Bulma, who was crouched down working in the front yard of her house. Goku stood beside her, having just told her all the information he'd gathered the night before.
"Yeah, and it seems he has something against Kami-Sama. Besides having a floating fortress, would you like to do something about it?" the Saiyan asked, interested in the blue-haired girl's opinion.
"Well, I'd like to, but..." Bulma pointed to the overgrown garden and looked at her mother, who was ironically wearing a gold bikini while sunbathing at seven in the morning. She reclined in a chair with a glass of iced tea.
"Bulma isn't going anywhere until she cleans up the mess she left in my precious garden." Noticing the looks from her daughter and Goku, Bikini opened her eyes slightly and replied before returning to her previous relaxed state.
"I understand, Mrs. Brief. I'll ask Piccolo for help since this concerns him. See you later."
Goku decided he didn't want to get involved, so he slowly took flight. Once he was sure his acceleration wouldn't affect Bikini, he quickly became a black dot on the horizon.
"Ah~ he's getting more and more handsome. Too bad he's married," Bikini remarked after Goku left. Bulma rolled her eyes but made sure her mother didn't notice.
She didn't want to get in trouble again!
