Xiaoxi and Xiaobai had long since learned how to crawl. Xiaobai's more athletic—he can stand up by himself and slowly shuffle a couple of steps, but he basically can't keep his balance. After two steps, he'll go "thunk" and fall on the floor.
He doesn't cry either. Tough as a little cockroach, he uses both hands and feet, half walking, half running, and manages to grab a piece of cake.
The adults all burst out laughing:
"Sining is definitely gonna be a little glutton when he grows up! Ahahaha—"
But to everyone's surprise, Xiaobai didn't eat the cake after getting it. Instead, he crawled back and handed it to Xiaoxi, who was putting little flowers on her head. "Jie-jie, eat, eat eat..."
Xiaoxi is a girl, so her language skills are better than his. She glanced at it and pouted her soft pink lips. "Don't want it."
