The little one looked down at the white kitten in his arms, then raised his little face to look at Jun Moyan, seemingly wanting to plead once more, yet ultimately compromised.
He reluctantly looked at the kitten in his arms for a while before finally passing it to him.
"An'an doesn't want mommy to be sad, doesn't want mommy to be angry."
Jun Moyan looked at the sensible little one, raised a hand to rub his small head, then took the kitten, putting it on the ground.
"Be good, An'an, daddy will buy you other toys."
The little one kept his eyes on the white kitten on the ground, not responding to Jun Moyan.
After a while, he asked Jun Moyan, "When mommy comes back, will she bring Xiaoguai back too?"
Jun Moyan nodded: "Yes."
The little one asked again, "Are Xiaoguai's eyes the same blue as mommy's? They are in the photos."
Jun Moyan continued nodding: "Yes, the same color."
