"Gu Anjin, you're not gonna run off after you come out, are you?" Huo Xun spoke again before the operating table was pushed in.
"I'll keep an eye on her for you… no, I mean I'll keep her here!" Qin Shi hurriedly tried to patch things up.
Huo Xun lazily closed his eyes and let the doctors push him in.
Qin Shi looked over at Gu Anjin. "Miss Gu, do you want to eat something, or drink something? Or you can sit down and rest for a bit. This surgery's not gonna be over anytime soon."
"You guys really won't let me leave, huh?" Gu Anjin thought of the promise Qin Shi had just made to Huo Xun and was speechless.
She really didn't want anything to happen to Huo Xun at a time like this, but that didn't mean she had to sit here and wait for him to come out.
"Of course not." Qin Shi smiled, watching Gu Anjin hesitate about her stance.
