Meeting Castta and Brenna again was surprisingly a pleasant moment for Klaus. He didn't know he would be happy to meet them again, but now that he did, he was.
Perhaps it was because he was seeing General Brenna in a new light, the sole reason his mood brightened. Seeing her smile when she learned about Mark made Klaus happy because at least, finally, Mark could have a big sister who didn't look down on him.
The past can remain in the past.
Of course, despite Mark saying he wasn't bothered by the past, Klaus could tell he was telling lies. He knew how much Mark had longed to have a family of his own in the past.
So this improvement would help him, and regardless of the outcome, there is no telling whether the family he had longed for would finally become a reality.
Well, he already has the Paragon family as his own, so there is nothing standing in his way.
But sometimes, blood speaks louder than anything, so he is happy for his pal.
