Cherreads

Chapter 5 - The great arachnid network

While Manolo and Isidro get to work installing various orders. At that moment, their archenemies, the antihuman rebellion, are scheming malevolent plans to prevent the dimension of modernization project from coming to fruition.

—Sorry for summoning you, I know you have important things to do, but can I know... —Aldrich Said passively, only to break the serious atmosphere by exclaiming angrily. —Because those bastards are still alive!

—Calm down, my queen, we're about to resolve it, but with patience; we didn't know the modern inquisitor was a good driver. —Sargoth Answered, who tries to calm her down.

—Exactly, Miss Aldrich, the chances of the inquisitor being a good driver are not very high, since let's remember he worked as a technician in RD; there those beings drive like demons." —Oculan Said.

—You're right, buddy, I remember that; I went there once, the people are very nice and kind, but when they drive, they unleash their inner demon. —Blackend Responded.

—Speaking of the demon and Infernus, where is he? —Aldrich asked.

—He is in an important company meeting, that's why he couldn't come now. —Kulbain Answered.

—I understand. Now then, we need to sabotage the modernization project of our dimension; any suggestions? —Aldrich Asked, who is waiting for a response.

—I can send the princesses of perdition to take care of the inquisitor and his assistant. —Sargoth Suggested, raising his hand.

—Those filthy nymphomaniacs will help us defeat the inquisitor and his companion. —Aldrich replied skeptically about it.

—The weakness of Dominicans is foreign women; you should not underestimate the attraction of Dominicans to foreigners. Trust me. —Sargoth responded.

—But if Blonde is a female being, why didn't they fall before her? —Blackend questioned.

—She is a being of blood; moreover, they had a very unpleasant history with her, specifically with the human named Isidro. —Sargoth replied.

—You're right, not everyone would notice her. You won this time, Sargoth. — Blackend Responded and accepted to his argument.

—I agree with you, Lord Sargoth. That carnal attraction must be enough to be their downfall, and where are those young ladies now? —Ulgalion Commented.

—Right now, they must be plotting their diabolical plan to bring down the inquisitor. —Sargoth Said.

At that moment, Manolo and Isidro took a break at the branch to have lunch.

—I'm so hungry I could eat a mammoth. —Manolo Said, who is hungry.

—I can imagine. —Isidro replied and added, changing the subject of the conversation as they entered the branch. —What do you think of what we've done at work?

—To be honest, this looks like it came out of a TV series or a Michael Bay movie; the only thing missing is the hot women or wait, there's one right there. —Manolo Answered, who sees and greets Meredith and Sonya.

—Yeah, for you who seem like Gary Stu, with those divine powers. Could you kick Goku's butt? —Isidro replied, who accidentally bumped into Hope, who dropped her papers.

—Watch where you're going, mortal. —Hope Exclaimed angrily.

—Forgive him, Miss Hope, it was an accident... He didn't see you. —Manolo Answered, picking up the papers for him.

—Yes, you are right, Sir. I apologize; it is my fault for being this size. —Hope replied.

"Don't feel self-conscious, Miss Hope, you are who you are and that's what matters." Even I would like to have Isidro's physique. —Manolo Answered.

—Maybe you're right, although maybe you do exercise, I say. It's a condition you could change... —Hope Said, but Manolo gives her a dirty look as he hands over his papers, retracts, and continues his way.

—Oh, what happened? —Isidro replied.

—Nothing, Isidro. —Answered Manolo as they head to the dining room.

—I wonder if there will be anything edible, although I was lucky that in Mr. Malcolm's order they had edible food. —Isidro replied.

—Hello, dear Manolo, how are you? —Meredith greeted Manolo with a romantic and seductive tone, as she had a surprise for him.

—Hello, Miss Meredith. I'm fine, thank you for asking. —Manolo responded.

—I brought you some deadly food, come on, sit with us. —Meredith Answered, who guides them to their table where Malcolm, Sonya, and Camilion are sitting.

—Oh, but look who we have here, the best technicians around, how has your work been going? —Malcolm asked.

—Very well, manager, we already know how to deal with that rabble trying to stop us from doing our job. —Isidro Answered.

—They talk about the anti-human rebellion. —Malcolm replied.

—What? —Manolo asked, who is confused.

—Sit down so I can explain it to you; Isidro already knows, but I'll explain it to you, Manolo. —Malcolm Answered, so he proceeds to explain to them.

—Alright, I'm listening. —Manolo responded, who interrupts a bit, takes a listening position while Meredith hands him the food she prepared.

»The antihuman rebellion is a group composed of the richest and most powerful beings who seek to prevent the project from happening, as they believe this project could be counterproductive for us as a society. They repudiate humans to death, so they make sure to end everything human and humanity as such.

Interesting, but they haven't told them to stop, I say. —Manolo Answered.

—Unfortunately, it is impossible to do so; they are too deeply rooted in their ideology, so it is useless to try. They will do whatever it takes to prevent coexistence between humanity and the dark dimension. This has reached such a point that even the justice entities hardly intervene, as there are several from the rebellion among them, so they turn a blind eye. That's how complicated things are, Manolo. —Explains Sonya.

—So, we have to face them in all kinds of fights to defend ourselves. —Manolo Answered.

—Yes, that's why we talk to the justice system of our dimension so that we don't have problems with them. Let Isidro tell you, he had to swallow all that crap, but thanks to our god, they can defend themselves now; that's why we are training our staff so they can defend themselves and we are analyzing the repercussions this might have. —Meredith Explained, who leaned on Manolo's arm.

—Meredith, please, don't lean on my arm... I'm married. —Manolo replied.

—Meredith, leave him alone, ever since they finally installed an order, she's been very affectionate with him. —Camilion Answered.

—Alright, Camilion, I'll leave him alone for now. Oh, Hope, you finally come to join us. —Meredith responded.

—Don't get me wrong, Meredith, I only came because Malcolm told me to. —Hope replied, bringing them food from the cafeteria.

—I understand, then, that we are waiting; I'm very hungry. —Manolo Answered, who eats Meredith's food, which is the Dominican flag: rice, beans, and meat, with a bit of fried arepa.

—Thank you, Meredith, how did you know that this is my favorite food? —Manolo replied while eating and added. —Sonya, did you tell her or what?

—No, she probably looked it up on the internet. I didn't tell her anything about our trip. —Sonya Answered.

—Oh, Sonya, you visited Manolo; how was it over there? —Malcolm asked.

—It went well, except that I got on Manolo's wife's nerves. —Sonya answered.

—I'll guess, you mentioned his religion, Sonya. —Malcolm replied.

—Yes, I did it, I just love doing it; Manolo... I leave him alone. —Answered Sonya.

—You can bother my wife with that, but not me. —Manolo responded.

—Even so, I don't want them talking about that here, I want an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. —Malcolm Answered and added. —Well, we're waiting to eat.

They eat in peace; after that, they go to their respective duties. Manolo and Isidro are in the warehouse restocking the vehicle. Once restocked, they say goodbye to Sonya to go to their next order.

At that moment, they decide to talk about their situation in the dark dimension.

—What's wrong, Manolo? Is something bothering you? —Isidro asked.

—No, nothing, I just think that now that we are famous, many people are going to want to kill us for our fame. —Manolo Answered.

—Well, if they want lead, we'll give them lead. And it's not like that. Manolo. —Isidro replied.

—And yes. —Manolo Answered.

In the distance, the princesses of perdition are scheming their nefarious plans.

—So, girls, what are we going to do today? —replied a kind of adult, voluptuous, and athletic Lum from Urusei Yatsura with Tesla antennas for horns, a bikini with military camouflage, military camouflage paint, and armed to the teeth.

—Going shopping. —Said a yuki onna who is like Oyuki from Urusei Yatsura but an adult, with her kimono used as a trench coat, revealing her combat suit similar to the latter's, armed to the teeth.

—Seriously, Cassie, darling, we already went shopping at a mall. We came here on Sargoth's orders to destroy the technicians at the Rare branch. —Answered a kind of adult and muscular Benten from the Urusei Yatsura anime, armed to the teeth.

—Enough already! We have work to do. Let's see if it's true that they are a threat as Blondie Blaze said. —Exclaimed a sort of adult Ran from Urusei Yatsura, armed to the teeth, albino.

—Exactly, Riley, so Beatrix and Cassie can leave their quirks alone, because we are going to defeat those technicians. —Lumia Voltage Answered, causing them to cheer up. So Lumia gets into an armored-to-the-teeth SUV, Cassie and Beatrix get on a flying motorcycle, and Riley gets on a flying saucer to head toward where Manolo and Isidro are.

Manolo notices this, so he diverts into the forest while they are attacked by the princesses. On the way, he activates the chainsaws to make his way thru the forest. Lumia riddles them with her vehicle's railguns, but it holds up long enough, even tho she misses several shots. Cassie shoots icicles and Beatrix throws lava drops with her chain. Riley riddles them with several bolts from his ship.

—But damn it, what the hell?! —Manolo exclaimed, who is overwhelmed with so much lead.

—Who do we kill that has us in suspense? We have to do something. —Isidro Answered.

—Don't worry, we're going to teach those women what heteropatriarchal oppression is. —Manolo Answered.

—Yahoo! It's time to oppress, Baby! —Isidro replied.

Manolo frees Pinky, who comes out on a flying motorcycle, and Isidro on his broom to confront those wretches. A full-blown war breaks out in a nearby plain. Isidro dodges Riley's shots while he fires several magical bolts from his wand until he casts mud spells that cover the ship's chambers until he invokes a missile to destroy it completely. She flies toward Isidro, who performs a Jumping Cutter (RKO for WWE fans) in mid-air.

—When I referred to an oppressive macho, I didn't mean that, but whatever, it works for me. Now let me take care of this wretch. —Manolo Answered, who faces Lumia Voltage as if it were Twisted Metal until they both accelerate in unison to collide, but with the snowplow that the vehicle has at the front, he positions it with the control panel so that, upon impact, the vehicle spins in the air and is out of combat.

Lumia gets up, but Pinky bumps into her; Manolo shoots a guided missile at her; in turn, Isidro casts an illusion spell so they fall before the missile and fly away.

On the ground, Manolo and Isidro fight hand-to-hand; at one point, Isidro lands a superkick on Beatrix, allowing Manolo to follow up with a pedigree.

—The streak is over, one, two, three! —Isidro exclaimed, recalling that match between Triple HHH and Undertaker, in that Hell in a Cell.

Cassie faces Pinky, while she shoots ice at her and skates on the ice that forms under her feet. In a moment of distraction, Isidro catches her off guard and lands a bicycle kick that sends her flying toward Manolo to receive a spear.

Lumia gets up, but they notice and order Pinky to stop her. He drags her with the motorcycle until Manolo and Isidro throw him, performing the Dudley Boys' 3D move.

—Stop, stay there. —Riley said she was pointing a gun at them. They do as they are told, so they raise their hands, but Isidro casts a spell that creates a flash of light to blind her. Once incapacitated, they perform the Last Chapter of the Authors of Pain from WWE. They gather them all and bind them with chains summoned by Shen Ray.

—And now what do we do with them? —Isidro asked.

—I don't know, you tell me. —Manolo replied.

—And if we desecrate them... that's legal in this dimension. —Isidro Answered, savoring it as if he were a hungry monster.

—No! We are employes of Rare and represent the company; this means we don't do those things, is that clear, Isidro? —Manolo explained.

—It's fine if you say so. —Isidro Answered, who feels discouraged.

—Mr. Inquisitor, may I ask you a question? —Riley replied.

—Yes, what's your name? —Manolo Answered.

—Riley Ántrax, what are they going to do to us now that they defeated us? —Riley replied.

—I don't know, I think about leaving them behind, but I feel it wouldn't be fair. It gnaws at my conscience. —Manolo Said.

—Even tho you defeated us, wouldn't it be better for you to claim your prize? — Lumia replied.

—Shut up, Lumia, they are human. —Beatrix Answered.

—And so what. —Lumia replied.

—Besides, they are surely poor. I can smell the stench of poverty from here. —Cassie Answered.

—Forgive me for being born in Capotillo, woman of the club. This Poppy thinks she's the big deal. —Manolo replied, who got angry at that argument.

—But what if it's worth it? That snowflake is top-notch. —Isidro Answered, glancing at her sideways.

—Step aside, little indie, that's my woman! —Beatrix Exclaimed angrily.

—Oh, just what we needed, weird stuff. —Answered Manolo, who rubbed his hands over his face.

—And what's wrong with that, two-legged whale? —Beatrix replied.

—Oh, do you... not fear death? —Manolo answered, who is getting angry. She keeps insulting him, causing him to lose his patience. Her friends try to calm her down, but it's already too late; his eyes turn white, he calls Pinky to bring the vehicle so he can sit in the driver's seat. Isidro tries to plead for mercy, but it's too late; he activates all the weapons to shoot them to pieces, leaving a puree of meat in various colors, as they are extraterrestrials.

—Why did you do it? They were good. —Isidro replied horrified.

—They are our enemies and what I did was justified; I don't like being bothered about my weight. I am who I am and I'm not going to argue with you anymore. —Manolo Answered.

—Don't rush... —Isidro responded, causing him to look at him badly and added. —Fine, you win.

Afterward, Isidro gets into the vehicle to head to his next order.

They arrive at a forest full of cobwebs where Manolo activates the chainsaws to be able to advance toward his order. Some spiders approach menacingly. Manolo activates more chainsaws on the sides and at the back, making his way thru the forest and maneuvering to keep the giant spiders at bay, until they reach a mountain full of spiders and webs.

—And this damned mountain full of cobwebs. —Manolo Answered.

—It seems to be the home of those insects; let me call. —Isidro replied, picking up the phone and calling the client.

Isidro asks the customer to come out to help guide them to their home, and it turns out that the customer is a drider (half human from the waist up and half spider with spider legs from the waist down).

—Good morning, you are the technicians for my service? —Asked the Drider, whose description is as follows:

She is a woman with brown hair, gray skin, blue eyes, wearing glasses, dressed in a work uniform, and her spider part is black with red.

—If we are, ma'am... —Manolo Said until he noticed her engagement ring and added. —Ma'am...

—Thank you for coming, my name is Dria Webball; I hope our giant spiders haven't caused you any trouble. —Dria replied, gesturing for them to follow. They do as he says while they get into their vehicle, since the caves are larger than the vehicle. Upon entering, they realize that to get to the client's house, they have to climb up a spider web. Manolo activates the control panel, the spider mode, which turns the vehicle into a spider, allowing them to climb the web to the sixth floor. Once they traverse several passages, they arrive at the client's house.

Inside the customer's house, they see on their device that it is a fiber optic installation for phone and internet plus Rare TV +. When they review the structure of the premises, they do not know what the internal piping of the premises is like.

—Ma'am, could you lend us the blueprints of your house, as we don't know how your plumbing system is structured? — Manolo asked.

—The architect of this mountain has it; it's a few kilometers from here. —Dria replied, handing him a map to get to the engineer.

—Thank you very much, Mrs. Dria, we will come back later to pick up the plans. —Manolo Answered as they left the place.

—Let's see, to get to the engineer's house or web, we have to pass thru the plains of lamentations, then thru a tribe of werewolves and a castle where some noble vampires live, and finally, the engineer's house. —Isidro replied, handing him the map.

—This reminds me of an episode of Dora the Explorer. —Manolo Answered.

—Seriously, you watched that audiovisual cancer. —Isidro replied, surprised.

—It's healthier than the Dembow ruler and all the weird movies and series they show on streaming channels. —Manolo Answered.

—Well then, let's go find those blueprints. —Isidro replied as he switched the vehicle to its normal mode, heading toward the wailing cries. Manolo starts singing the song from Dora the Explorer (the one that says "Vamos, come on"). This is destroying Isidro's sanity. Once they reach the plain of lamentations, they hear many voices crying out in lament.

—Stop. —A ghost said it stops them.

They stop.

—And now what? —Manolo said.

—I need you to find my teddy bear for me, please, I can't see it. —the ghost Answered.

Isidro gets out of the vehicle and with his magic wand, he lights up the plain to look for the ghost's stuffed toy. After a while, Isidro finds it, but it's in a man-eating plant. He uses the wand to make it levitate, but the plant closes up, as it's not stupid. He uses a spell to open it, but it's anti-magic, so he looks for a hydraulic jack in the vehicle to open its mouth and retrieve the stuffed animal. Isidro hands over the stuffed animal so they can pass.

—My God, man, how difficult, let's get out of here. —Isidro replied, getting into the vehicle so that Manolo could start it, and thus the tribe of werewolves arrived at their next location. Manolo takes the opportunity and continues singing Dora's song. Isidro puts on some headphones to avoid hearing him sing. Unfortunately, it's useless, as he starts clapping and moving frantically.

—Holy Father of Glory, bury me alive. —Isidro Answered, but upon saying this, he had a mini heart attack; he began to feel chills throughout his body and thought. —This damn curse is eating away at my entire being.

—Isidro, is something wrong? —Manolo asked, who stopped singing and paid attention to Isidro.

—It's the curse I have inside me. —Isidro Answered, clutching his stomach.

—¿You need me to do something? —Manolo Asked, worried.

—Don't worry about me, I'm going to take these pain-relief pills. —Isidro Answered, who summoned a pillbox with pills and took some with water.

—Then you should stop using magic, don't you think? — Manolo commented.

—I must use it, since the contract I have with Meredith, the pain is because I am losing my humanity. —Isidro replied, feeling better.

—If you say so, but you haven't tried to see how you can improve your situation. —Manolo responded.

—I really haven't thot about it, but for some reason, I like being here. —Isidro replied. —Isidro Answered.

—Oh my God, but what a masochist you are, are you going to get residency to be here or something? —Manolo replied.

—Yes, that's the plan; that's why I'm staying at Sonya's place, since I don't have something called family in my world. —Isidro Answered.

—Well, if you say so, just use magic when it's necessary because if it turns you into an uncontrollable monster, I'm going to kick your ass and maybe end your life. —Manolo responded.

—It's fine if you say so. It's better that you do it than someone else, even tho Meredith said she would preserve my consciousness and all my memories. —Isidro Answered.

—Well, come on, baby. —Manolo replied, who proceeded to sing the song as they headed toward the tribe of werewolves.

When they arrive at the tribe, some werewolves won't let them pass.

—I'll take care of it. —Isidro said, getting out of the vehicle just to approach them and show them a moon medallion that Sonya had given him.

—Oh, it's from the Moonwalker clan; excuse me, gentlemen, you may pass. —One of the werewolves who kneels before them responds.

—What the heck was that? —Manolo asked.

—Let's say Sonya has a lot of rank among her kind. —Isidro Answered.

—Oh, how nice, in our company we have many celebrities; is there anything else you need to know? —Manolo replied.

—Yes, if we hadn't had those alternatives, I would have taken them by force. —Isidro Answered.

—And what if they had been future clients? —Isidro replied.

—Do you think a tribe of werewolves would have technology? At least, Wakanda-level. Beside, those wooden spears with stone tips don't look very high-tech. —Manolo responded, so they can then laugh maliciously about it.

—Alright, if you say so, let's get out of here. —Isidro replied.

They leave the place and, as always, Manolo keeps singing the song; Isidro has a stroke that makes him foam at the mouth. When they arrive at the castle, some gargoyles guarding the castle stop them.

—If you want to pass, you must give a gift to Countess Bloodburn. —Answered one of the guards who is blocking their way.

—How come the only thing I have is very greasy blood for your majesty and the only thing I have is this cross they gave me? —Manolo replied.

—Cross, Cross, he is a son of God, step away from my son of God, for the work is for Cylax. —Answered one of the guards who was horrified to see the cross.

—But, what happened? What are they doing to me? —Manolo replied, confused.

—Remember that here, the children of God are their natural enemies. —Isidro Answered.

—Ah, yes, I remember now, but there's no way to get thru. —Manolo replied.

—Let me see if I have something in the vehicle that can help us. —Isidro Answered, rummaging thru the vehicle to see if they could find something useful until he found an engagement ring, which he handed to the guards, and they admired its beauty.

—Alright, that's enough. You may pass. —One of the guards replied.

—Thank you very much, Isidro, I know it must have hurt you. —Manolo Answered as they got on and crossed the castle to finally go to the engineer's house.

—That ring cost me an arm and a leg since I bought it on the ground; you owe me. —Isidro Said.

—You love her a lot, don't you? —Manolo asked.

—Yes, I love her, I don't want her to leave me; she helped me survive the clients and, thanks to her, I still work here. —Isidro replied.

—Don't worry, I'll return the favor. I like you, kid. —Manolo Answered.

—Thanks, Manolo, now let's go see that bastard." And, please, stop singing, my ears are bleeding from your voice. —Isidro replied.

—Permission denied, I like that song. —Manolo Answered, who continues singing.

—Damn it, what's wrong with this guy? —Isidro replied, putting on his headphones to avoid hearing him sing.

When they arrive at the place, they knock on the engineer's door, who is also a drider.

—Who are you? They are the lenders; I'll pay them back later. —Answered an old voice from the other side of the door.

—No, sir, we are from Rare Communications; you are the engineer who built Dria Webball's house. —Manolo replied.

—Ahhh yes, it was me, what do you want? —responded the engineer who opens the door for them and invites them in.

—We came to get the plans of Mrs. Dria's property to install a service for her. —Isidro replied.

—Well, but right now I have a monstrous mess; if you help me organize it, I'll lend it to you. —the engineer Responded.

—Don't worry, we'll take care of it. —Manolo Answered.

The engineer shows him the giant stacks of plans that are organized.

—Go to hell, is going to organize it. —Isidro replied angrily that he doesn't want to do anything.

—Don't worry, rest and admire how I organize it. —Manolo Responded, who with the power of the cross proceeds to organize everything alphabetically like a god. Until he finds the map of Mrs. Dria's locality.

—Ready, I found it. —Manolo Answered, passing it to Isidro.

—Let's get out of here. —Isidro replied.

—Let me finish. —Manolo Answered.

— Alright, how much do you have left? —Isidro replied.

—I'm done, I organized it alphabetically so that if they ask for the name, they can find it easily. —Manolo Answered.

—Thank you very much, Mr. Inquisitor, for helping me. —Isidro replied.

—Don't call me that, please, call me Manolo. —Manolo responded.

—Alright, Manolo. I must admit, you are more endearing than how they portray you on television. —the engineer Answered.

—Don't be swayed by what they say on television. —Manolo replied.

—Alright, Mr. Manolo, if you say so. A pleasure, my name is Darion Webmaster. —Darion Responded, shaking his hand.

—Pleased to meet you, Mr. Webmaster. —Manolo Answered while Isidro takes photos of the plans and hands them to him.

They return to the customer's location to install the order; since the lady lives in a web, they have to make the connections in a way that does not damage the integrity of the web. They go to the vehicle to get suits that prevent them from getting stuck. They proceed to install it delicately and patiently, hiding the wiring in the spider web until they test the services to ensure they work correctly. They also explain how it works to her. The customer is very happy with the service, so she will request more of their products.

After they finish with the order, Manolo looks at the number in his hand and realizes it hasn't changed.

—How strange, the number hasn't changed. —Manolo Said, looking at it with concern.

—Don't worry, it's a system error according to Meredith; if it concerns you so much, talk to her. —Isidro Answered.

—Alright, I'll talk to her. —Manolo Said as they went to work on other orders from other clients.

After making several installations, they go to the checkpoint, as it is too far to return to the branch.

—Oh, but it's Manolo and Isidro! —said one of the technicians who are there.

They get out of the vehicle and greet their companions.

—Tell me, how have you been? —Manolo said.

—Thanks to you, we have been able to install more orders, although it is unbearable that the clients want you to work for them." —Answered one of the technicians.

—Yes, I know, sorry. —Manolo Answered.

—Don't apologize, it's not your fault... well, technically, yes. —One of the technicians replied.

—At least they're working, right? —Isidro responded.

—Yes, you're right, not like in the early days... It gives me chills just thinking about it. —One of the technicians responded.

—I know, but they have recovered the souls of the technicians who perished along the way. —Isidro replied.

—Yes, there is a team from the dark dimension that takes care of them, they are also making human flesh bodies to deposit them there, so for those of us in plush and other types of bodies, it's good news for us. —Explained one of the technicians.

—What did you come for? Rolkenis said disdainfully and haughtily.

—We just came to socialize and restock. —Isidro Answered.

—Yes, Rolkenis, drop it, because thanks to them we can work more peacefully and get rid of those scum on the road and the client. —Replied one of the technicians.

They keep talking, but Isidro goes to refuel the vehicle while Manolo chats with them about anything until at one point Manolo's powers activate and he stops a bomb that almost falls at the checkpoint with telekinesis and throws it to another place where no one is, causing it to explode upon impact with the ground.

Some drones surround them, but they pull out weapons from their vehicles, so they confront them. Manolo, with his swords, takes care of several of them; Isidro guides other technicians who use magic to defend themselves; those on the ground handle the ground drones. The checkpoint turns into a battlefield.

—Damn those anti-human rebels, they want lead, damn it! —shouted one of the technicians as he split a drone in two.

These words motivate the other technicians. After a while, they defeat the drones, so they start celebrating.

They are interrupted by another bomb, but Manolo catches it with his telekinesis and detects the being that fired it, so he returns it, but it didn't do anything. From the darkness, a fifteen-meter-tall mecha appears, black with blood-red accents, with parts of flesh and metal, similar to Yukio, but the stronger version of Snowball Earth.

—Attention, scum of the earth, I am Hiro Mishima, the greatest hero conceived in the dark dimension, and I come to put an end to you and the realm of terror that Rare has created in this world. —Hiro Said, who is a Frankenstein monster with clothing and appearance similar to Tetsuo Yabusame.

—Rot in hell! —Manolo replied, giving him the middle finger, the others said the same and also made the gesture.

Hiro turns off the microphone for a moment.

—What should I do, Zorus? They are revealing themselves, and what does that gesture mean? —Hiro replied, who is intimidated by it.

—That gesture means screw you, how strange that you haven't learned what that gesture means if you've watched several documentaries about humanity. —Zorus Answered.

—Damn bastards, I'll take care of them. —Hiro replied, then activated the microphone and summoned several drones, androids, and anything else considered a robot.

—Isidro, we're going to kick this bastard's ass. —Manolo Said.

—With great pleasure. —Isidro replied, but Rolkenis interrupts them mounted on his vehicle, which transforms into a mech or giant robot, whichever you prefer.

—That bastard has been bothering me for a long time, so leave him to me, you take care of his lackeys. —Rolkenis Answered.

—Alright, as you say, Rolkenis. —Manolo Said.

—Hey, you bastard, do you remember me? —Rolkenis replied, as he approached him.

—You must be Technician Rolkenis, my arch-nemesis; we are going to settle the score right now. —Hiro Said.

They lunge at each other, but he dodges the punch and charges, pushing him out of the checkpoint a few kilometers away. Meanwhile, the technicians take care of the robots. Returning to Rolkenis and Hiro, they fight fiercely, shooting everything, destroying everything in their path, mountains, trees, etc. When the ammunition runs out, they fight with melee weapons like swords, clashing swords mercilessly until they destroy each other, the same with the other weapons they deploy until they break, so they fight hand-to-hand.

—I must admit, Rolkenis, you have improved since the last time we fought. —Hiro Said.

—I've been training at the branch, but the day has finally come when I can defeat you. —Rolkenis replied.

In the fight, Zorus beats him up until he inserts his hand into Rolkenis's robot to trap him while watching and crushing him.

—You have a long way to go to defeat me, Rolkenis. —Rolkenis Said.

—Not so fast, you bastard! —Manolo shouted, who, with a powerful leap, pierced thru the robot, pulling Hiro out of the mecha to give him a thorough beating in mid-air, sending him flying.

—Someday, I will take my revenge on you, modern inquisitor! —Hiro shouted as he went to infinity and beyond.

Manolo returns to Rolkenis and helps him stand up.

—I didn't need your help, Manolo. —Rolkenis Said, refusing his help.

—Don't get like that, I know we have our differences, but we are coworkers and we should help each other. —Manolo Answered.

These words reach Rolkenis's heart, but he refuses to forgive him.

—Sorry for how I treated you and for the hole I made in your butt. —Manolo Said, who felt remorseful about it.

—Alright, I forgive you and I will even apologize to Isidro, but my pain won't heal so easily. —Rolkenis replied.

—I agree, take your time. —Manolo Answered.

Isidro and the other technicians are going to assist them.

—Rolkenis, are you okay? —Isidro said.

—Yes, I am, I have to tell you something in front of everyone. —Rolkenis replied.

—What? —Isidro Answered, who is confused.

—I want to ask for your forgiveness for almost hurting you on the farm... —Rolkenis replied.

—No, Rolkenis, it's my fault for convincing you to work here, as well as the others. Forgive me for putting you in this hell; I don't deserve your forgiveness. —Isidro Answered, his eyes almost brimming with tears.

—Isidro, we forgive you; what's done is done, now we have to fight for our lives in this filthy world. —So you're ready to work like dogs, slaves of the system! —one of the technicians replied.

This lifts their spirits, so they call their clients, restock, get into their vehicles, and head to their next job.
