The young man was startled by Ning Fan's actions, wanting to escape but forcing himself to stay put.
Feeling Ning Fan's displeasure, sweat beaded on his forehead as he clutched Ning Fan's wrist, smiling,
"I've actually noticed you for a long time, and I just wanted to make friends by talking to you. Can't we ease the tension between us?"
Ning Fan responded with merely a scoff, and Hasen chimed in timely.
"Oh, you claimed you just wanted to befriend us, but you set up that scene in the alley yesterday afternoon, thinking we wouldn't notice, huh?"
The young man didn't expect Hasen to point it out so bluntly.
