"Go, let's check out the battlefield to the north," Long Wu said, then proceeded ahead.
Arriving at the northern battlefield, it was in the middle of fierce combat. Bullets and rockets from the other side continually struck their base.
"Commander, why are you here? It's dangerous, you should head to the back," one of the captains said sternly.
Just as he finished speaking, a bullet went straight through his head, splashing blood all over Long Wu's face.
Long Wu shuddered with fright. Although she had seen much of the world, she was still a woman.
"Are you alright?" Xi'er quickly supported Long Wu.
Long Wu felt sorrowful, then squatted down to close the captain's eyes. Since it's war, death is inevitable.
Long Wu looked into the distance with binoculars, seeing that the enemy was launching wave after wave of attacks, showing no signs of retreating.
