Sam remained silent.
After a while, he let out a long sigh.
"Yesterday, the Federal Intelligence Office sent a message."
"Maggie, the commander of the Black Banner Army, led the team herself. Within an hour and thirty minutes, she took Old Eagle Mountain on horseback and reclaimed the Eagle Mountain stronghold."
Giles' eyes widened instantly.
"As a commander, why would Maggie personally risk herself? This is a major taboo in military strategy."
Sam shook his head with a bitter smile.
"You might as well ask Laura. She was originally a colonel in the Department of Logistics. Why did she resign and head to the front lines to fight?"
Speaking of Laura, Giles' face suddenly darkened.
He shook his head sadly.
"Laura's fate is uncertain now; there's an eighty percent chance she's not coming back. Talking about it now is meaningless."
Sam consolingly patted his shoulder.
"Don't worry, Laura's Team isn't just composed of her; the Blue Danube Team is also guarding her."
