Burning the body is the highest honor you can bestow on a steed. It is how we honor our dead.
The idea is, we will return to the higher realm to be part of the Rakh'tamon's horde.
And for this, even though we honor it. We cannot let the earth have our body.
When we burn our steed, it is a way of saying, we want to be reunited with them in the higher realm.
