They continued the search for two weeks. Unfortunately, that was the last time Crotto could find the portal. They had checked nine other spots, but none of them contained a portal.
Of course, they hadn't checked the place marked by Nathan.
Once they got back, Nathan asked, "I need Selena, Luna, Alavenya, Sera, and Iris to go with Crotto to check the spots we have marked. Evelyn will be the guide by using the teleportation circles. The rest should stay here."
They didn't have any objections. After all, there was another task in this place.
"We need to handle the corpses and the cores. Can I ask you guys to handle it? I will handle the evolution with Gregory."
"Sure." They agreed without hesitation.
"By the way, Flora. Ask the shadow guards about their investigation."
