Chapter 11 - but battle

Rosvaldo faced off against Leader Apsy with unwavering determination, disregarding Melissa and Mel's mounting anxiety to rescue the hostage. Victor, frustrated at being left out of the main fight, watched with visible irritation, his eyes showing his desire to join the action.

The battle erupted with a bang. Rosvaldo launched a series of metal needles at Leader Apsy, but the alien deftly dodged them. Apsy retaliated with energy blasts, forcing Rosvaldo to shield himself with a metal armor he created with his abilities.

"You think you can beat me with just metal? Pathetic," taunted Apsy with a cruel smile.

"Don't underestimate the power of determination," Rosvaldo retorted, focusing on defending himself and counterattacking.

Meanwhile, the female alien and the stone alien, under Apsy's orders, headed toward the other humans. Victor encountered the stone alien and began fighting it, his flames lighting up the area. Despite the intensity of Victor's attacks, the stone alien remained unfazed.

"This guy doesn't burn easily, damn it!" Victor yelled, his fists ablaze, as he tried to overpower the resilient foe.

The stone alien laughed disdainfully. "You think fire will beat me? I love crushing things, and you're an easy target."

Melissa and Mel pressed forward toward the female alien, determined to stay focused on their mission. Melissa activated her earth power, raising a stone barrier to shield Mel while she advanced.

"Let's not waste time. Find the hostage," Melissa ordered with determination, her stance firm and controlled.

"I know, but we can't underestimate this alien," Mel replied, worried, as she fired her energy weapons to counter the alien's attacks.

The female alien attempted to counter with a series of swift strikes, but Melissa, using her earth power, retaliated with precision, knocking the enemy down in a fierce clash. Mel complemented the offensive with concentrated energy projectiles, forcing the alien to retreat.

"You're finished!" Melissa exclaimed as the female alien fell defeated.

With the female alien neutralized, Melissa and Mel moved forward to find the hostage. However, Melissa couldn't shake her concern for Rosvaldo, who was still battling Leader Apsy.

"Rosvaldo, we need your help here! The situation is becoming untenable!" Melissa shouted.

Rosvaldo, not taking his eyes off Leader Apsy, responded, "I'm fine, Melissa. Focus on finding the hostage. That's our priority."

"But you can't handle this alone! Let me help!" Melissa insisted, her voice filled with concern.

"I already told you, no. I have to deal with this now. Your focus should be on the hostage. I don't want you taking unnecessary risks," Rosvaldo asserted, his tone firm and resolute.

Meanwhile, Victor, still struggling against the stone alien, tried a different approach.

"Hey, rock, how about some heat? Let's see if you melt a bit!" Victor provoked, trying to distract the alien.

The stone alien, with a cruel and satisfied grin, responded, "How delightful! I love crushing things, and now I'm going to have even more fun."

The battle between Rosvaldo and Leader Apsy intensified. Rosvaldo launched a barrage of metal needles towards Apsy, who evaded them with agility, his eyes gleaming with a malevolent glint.

"Do you really think these tiny needles will harm me?" Apsy sneered, his voice dripping with disdain as he blocked the attacks with an energy shield.

Rosvaldo advanced with a wave of sharp metal, trying to encircle Apsy from all sides. "You may find this amusing, but you're mistaken if you think you'll escape unscathed."

Apsy laughed, a cruel and sarcastic sound. "Oh, how predictable you are. But tell me, what's your plan? Do you think you can defeat a being like me with just your metal abilities?"

Rosvaldo didn't answer. Instead, he used a technique to create a metal shield around himself, protecting against Apsy's energy blasts. With a swift move, he launched a series of metal blades directly at Apsy.

Apsy laughed even louder, dodging effortlessly. "How pathetic. You're just a small piece in my grand game. And in the end, we all know how it ends."

Seeing that Apsy was enjoying the fight too much, Rosvaldo decided to change his approach. He transformed the metal around him into a series of spikes and shot them towards Apsy.

Apsy dodged, but one spike tore through the side of his garment, making him glare at Rosvaldo with irritation. "Is this the best you can do? I truly don't understand how you humans think you can compete with us."

Rosvaldo kept his focus, even as Apsy continued to attack him with energy blasts and taunts. "I'm not here to entertain you. I'm here to make sure you pay for what you've done."

The fight raged on, with Rosvaldo using his metal abilities creatively and Apsy demonstrating impressive skills in dodging and counterattacking. Both were determined to stay resolute.

Meanwhile, Zugiy had managed to locate the hostage. He entered a dark-looking room where the four-armed, winged alien was bound and clearly frightened. She trembled, her large eyes darting nervously as Zugiy approached.

Zugiy, with his usual calm demeanor, tried to approach slowly to avoid frightening her further. He noticed her trembling, her breath quick and shallow.

"Hey... I'm here to help," Zugiy said, his voice soft and soothing. He tried to appear as friendly as possible, despite not being very good at conversation.

The alien looked at him warily, her wings twitching nervously. "You... you're here to rescue me? But they said I'd never leave here."

Zugiy nodded, maintaining a calm tone. "Yes, that's right. But we need to get out of here quickly. They might still come after us."

The alien seemed hesitant, but Zugiy's calm demeanor appeared to have a calming effect. "But what about the others? They're in danger too."

"We're here to ensure everyone is safe. You'll be free to go once I get these bindings off," Zugiy explained, trying to convey confidence, though his words were simple and direct.

The alien, still nervous, began to relax a bit. "Thank you... I don't know what I would have done without your help."

Zugiy moved closer and began working on the restraints carefully. "Don't worry. We'll get out of here and meet up with the others."

As he worked to free her, Zugiy continued to speak softly, even though it wasn't his strong suit. The alien, sensing Zugiy's sincerity and calmness, started to feel more reassured, trusting that help was truly on the way.
