"When the Carefree Sect was formed, it was indeed my idea, and I was the one directly in charge. Back then, I merely proposed a theory that the government needed a scapegoat department. I was young, heavily involved in training and missions, and couldn't manage the Carefree Sect, so I was just a figurehead. In the beginning, for joint operations, they contacted Sara through me. Later, as the Carefree Sect stabilized, departments could contact directly, so I withdrew to work in counter-terrorism and rarely dealt with Carefree Sect matters." Wesley said calmly.
"Saying you have no involvement just clears you entirely. Perhaps you should investigate what happened in the early days of the Carefree Sect. You'll be... greatly enlightened." Xiao Qiao said nonchalantly.
