The Elder carries a coffin every day to catch rats, which is frustrating enough. But the worst part is that before he even arrives, the sound of the coffin scares away the rats and cockroaches. In order not to starve, he pretends to be a Mummy, standing still, waiting for the rats and cockroaches to come out so he can strike accurately.
Sometimes he waits for an entire day. Finding something to eat is incredibly difficult, and these little brats want to rob him? Is there no justice left? If he hadn't spent decades in the underground palace without seeing a soul, he would really want to butcher them and make human jerky to eat slowly.
The two brothers watched eagerly as the Elder finished the meat in his hand, feeling anguished as if he were eating their flesh.
The Fat Man, weakened by hunger, asked feebly, "Senior, can you tell us where you catch the rats? We'll catch some to fill our bellies, we're just too hungry to bear it."
