Heather's heart was pounding, she couldn't hold back any longer.
She walked to an open area, looking around: "Tiantian? Tiantian, is that you? Tiantian! Where are you?"
A group of trendy young people, each wearing a different mask, suddenly bypassed security and came up to Heather. Then the whole square was filled with joyous rock music as they started street dancing, with the surrounding crowd swaying along.
At the end of the dance, a tall dancer suddenly stepped in front of Heather and slowly kneeled down on one knee before her.
The music stopped, and everyone stared wide-eyed.
Most of the people took out their phones to capture the moment.
Remember, this is Times Square in New York, where every billboard comes with a hefty advertising fee. Not to mention renting out all the billboards, the security, and the square itself — something only possible with significant financial backing.
That person took off his mask, revealing an incredibly handsome Asian face.
