Sho's POV
"How are you, Sol-san…?" Sugou sneered at me.
"I'm doing okay…" I responded while trying to keep my dignity up.
Rxas and Kaota asked what was going on with Sugou-sama.
"That guy is insane," I said. "He thinks he was a god in SAO."
"Wha…?" Roxas was confused by it.
"Come on…typical tropes…" Kaota was rather annoyed.
"Ha! Who are you guys?" Sugou sneered at Roxas and others.
"These people are my friends…" I responded briefly and calmly.
Sugou's eyes then got fixed on Cristina, and then my college friend from this island, Camellia Magbanua. "Ooh…you girls are pretty and cute.
Christina and Camellia recoiled at his words and tone as if they were disgusted by him.
"What?"
"That tone sounds like you're a pervert."
I got upset.
Roxas and a few others were offended.
"Hoy!" Roxas fired back at Sugou. "Don't say that to my older sister!"
"Yeah, don't say that to her and my friend!" I added strongly.
With a malicious glint and having a complete disregard for common sense and decency, Sugou summoned two NPC elf guards and abducted Cristina and Camellia.
"They're mine now…" he chuckled darkly.
As all of them teleported away, we were shocked and very upset, while the bystanders around us were shocked and horrified.
"Anak ng…" Ayala growled.
"Grabe siya…" Roxas's face contorted.
And then, the system window opened and gave us a challenge. It was called Rescue for the Two Damsels in Distress. "Come on!" Roxas was so annoyed.
"Seriously, that one?" Kaota was annoyed as well.
"Can't believe this…" I commented while rolling my eyes in annoyance. "…we have to do this rescue mission, guys. The reward will be 30,000 Gold Yen if we complete it."
Third-person POV
They had no choice, and they all hurriedly dashed to the outskirts of town to do this. Sho uses his coordinates to track Sugou's current location on this island. After 11 minutes of running, we arrived at that location, which was, for the worse, in the middle of a mango orchard.
"No! Not the mangoes!" Roxas wailed.
"This is unacceptable, Roxas-kapatid," Anko, beside him and invisible to his surroundings, added. "Planting a digital castle here is a disgrace to the mango farmers on this island."
Hearing the voice of Anko, Sho thought, "Oh, so the SBC system worked…"
This hinted that Sho had something to do with the development of the SBC (Supernatural Bond Contract) system alongside Kaito.
The castle was guarded by Sugou's elf guards, and Sugou, appearing on the balcony overlooking the front yard that had the mango trees, smirked at them. "I challenged all of you guys to try to pass through my army and rescue the two cuties here…"
Cristina and Camellia are on one corner, being tied up.
Because of that, while Roxas's remaining siblings and Sho's youngest adoptive sibling, Thaddeus, were taking cover behind a house of the orchard owner, Roxas and others, including Sho's remaining adoptive siblings Carmen and Theodora, went head-on to take down the elf guards. Carmen had a longsword while Theodora had a katana.
Kaota now had a Parang-style sword.
They fought the guard with all their might.
Anko boosted Roxas's power and strength, which allowed him to overpower 3 guards at once with his new Taal Blade.
Seeing that, Sho nodded. "It seemed that it went well."
He then flanked one elf guard easily with his specially customized Iloilo Sword.
After that, all of them infiltrated the castle on its first floor. However, Sugou sent in additional guards to block their way. Because of that, Roxas and Sho went ahead while the rest handled and flanked the elf guards. Both ran upstairs to the second floor, where Sugou confronted them in his throne. Cristina and Camellia were still terrified and tied up near the throne.
"Bravo, bravo…" Sugou mockingly applauded their infiltration.
"You think this is a show for yourself?" Sho responded.
"Not cool, man…" Roxas hissed.
"Come on, I want some fun, you know…" Sugou walked up to them before getting his main blade from his inventory.
He lunged at them as if he were a boss.
Roxas and Sho lunged at him with their blades, and Sugou flanked their attacks with some ease.
Struggling, Roxas had an idea, and he communicated with Anko via a thought. "What if I could use a slipper?"
Anko hears that and digs into Roxas's memories of the Filipino symbol of discipline and chastisement.
He glinted. "You want that?"
"Yes," Roxas replied through another thought.
And so, using his data, Anko manifested a blue rubber slipper from Roxas's memory.
Seeing that, Sho secretly maximized the power and velocity of the slipper to make it more powerful.
Now holding it firmly, Roxas dodged Sugou's attack and slapped his face with the powerful slipper. This launches Sugou to the outside of the castle via a hole in the wall and crash-landing on the dirt of the mango orchard. Cristina and Camellia stopped struggling and were stunned at Roxas's intuition and cleverness.
Sho then nodded in approval.
