West was louder.
Elias met his first Grey-Tusk with a grin that belonged on the wrong side of sanity.
The oversized greatsword came up around his shoulders, orange-gold mana whipping off it in savage ribbons.
"Come on then."
The Grey-Tusk charged.
Elias charged too.
He should not have been able to move with that blade the way he did. He should not have been able to accelerate, pivot, and cut with something that looked more like a collapsed gate than a weapon. Yet he did all of it with terrifying ease.
"Sundering Crash."
He met the brute head-on.
The impact tore the road open.
His blade came down in a monstrous vertical cleave and split through the Grey-Tusk's skull, spine, and chest in one devastating blow. Bone, crystal, flesh, and shattered concrete exploded outward as the body folded in half beneath him.
A second Grey-Tusk lunged from the side.
