Someone came to see Little Cheng Su?
Cheng Su was startled when she heard this, then she was filled with joy. Who could it be? Was it her parents or family?
"Who is it? Director, what kind of person is it, what do they look like?" Cheng Su excitedly grabbed the director's sleeve.
This was the best news she had heard in years, but she quickly calmed down. If it were family, why wouldn't they take Little Cheng Su away rather than leave her here?
The director sat down and said, "They said they came to see her, but that's just my guess."
"What do you mean?" Cheng Su hurriedly asked.
The director recalled, "It was back in August, a man came to the orphanage. We all thought he was there to adopt, but after looking at kids of all ages, he showed no expression. Instead, he seemed to be looking for someone, which made me curious, so I asked."
Sure enough, the man hesitated for a moment and then asked if any children had been sent here in the past two years.
