"What is this place?"
The elder replied,
"This is the wilderness outside the Ghost Gate, the road beneath your feet leads directly to the gate..."
As he spoke, he raised his hand to point forward, where a far-off black dot could barely be seen on the horizon. It seemed that the Ghost Gate was there. Gu Shi Yi raised an eyebrow,
"We need to go inside?"
If they went through the gate, it would alert the ghost messengers guarding it. They weren't afraid, but they didn't want to create too much noise, so as not to complicate things later!
The elder thought for a moment, then said,
"You needn't. I know of a path that leads directly to where you wish to go..."
It is said that the Underworld is interconnected, with many paths linking it together. Due to jurisdiction between realms, they are divided into areas. However, any old ghosts who have stayed long enough in the Underworld know a few secret paths for travels!
