The common folk marveled and acclaimed this to be the manifestation of the Heavenly Horse Divine Beast, but unfortunately, from then on, the Heavenly Horse vanished, never to appear again. The newly formed large lake, however, bore too many unjustly souls that perished within. Every night, when the moonlight shone brightly, the locals would see ghostly apparitions on the lake's surface, lined up in formation, wielding swords and spears, with cries of battle echoing from the lake, sending shivers down one's spine. In the following one or two centuries, nine out of ten fish caught from the lake were bizarre, with large heads and small bodies, human-like hands below their bellies, and wailing cries like infants from their mouths. Who would dare eat such strange fish?
Fishing became impossible, and the lake water, tainted by resentment, couldn't be used for irrigation. Thus, the locals fled, and the once-bustling city became a ghostly domain, with no one daring to enter for centuries!
