Chapter 16 - Night Wolf

In my world, I only loved three things:

Killing,

Women,

And blood.

The first kills your soul,

The second steals your heart,

And the third makes you lose your mind.

But now, I have decided not to harm any woman anymore.

This is because of my mother in this world.

Since I entered this world, she taught me to respect women before I could even speak. She taught me that.

Before I could move, and before I could run, she told me to respect women.

I didn't care about all that nonsense. If I wanted a girl, I would take her, not for any particular reason,

But because that's what I wanted.

But all that changed when I heard from her...

"Don't do to a girl what you wouldn't want done to ME ."

That's why I decided never to force myself on a woman again after that night.

It's not that I suddenly became afraid for women or that I became a good person.

No, the only reason is that I love my mother.

Yes, I love her. She's the only creature who loves me and stands by my side.

I wonder how she's doing now. I hope she's not worried about me.

It's been a month since I entered the forest. I've killed many White Tigers and FireCats.

And I've gotten more than 10 gems.

These gems drop from monsters level 25 and above.

But not all monsters drop these gems. I've killed more than 70 tigers and only got 10 gems.

I'm now level 24.

I've been close to death more than once.

If you look at me now, you'll find me standing over the bodies of many dead tigers, holding another tiger in my hand with its head severed. I plunged my sword into its body and pulled out its heart.

Absorption Ability

I gained a new skill from killing many tigers.

Super Speed: I can run as fast as a tiger.

I tried this new skill, running fast through the forest and feeling as swift as the wind.

Skill Duration: 4 minutes.

Cooldown: 4 minutes.

One minute passed.

I was sprinting everywhere, with 20 tiger-like beasts behind me.

No, no, they aren't enemies. I tamed them.

Two minutes passed.

An idea came to me: use the MANA in my legs.

I did, and my speed doubled instantly.

A tree appeared in front of me.

No, no, wait...

damn it,

damn it...

I crashed into the tree hard.

"I need to control my legs to stop in time," I said with a smile, sitting on the ground.

But suddenly, a giant black wolf appeared before me.

It's the Night Wolf!

A truly rare beast. I've searched far and wide, never expecting I'd need to delve this deep into the forest to find it.

It's gigantic, and imposing, its gaze piercing.

Excitement surges through me.

The word "Status" flashes in my mind.

Name: Night Wolf

Level: 31 Class: Wolf Leader

Type: Beast

 Abilities: Lightning Strike

I swiftly summon my sword, imbuing it with fire and Ki.

This is the leader of the wolves, a formidable foe, but I won't back down.

This beast is level 30, and I've learned from countless battles that every ten levels represents a terrifying leap in power. In its element, this wolf could likely take down fifteen tigers alone.

The battle is about to ignite. My eyes lock with the wolf's, a thrill coursing through me. This is going to be one hell of a fight.

I could feel my blood and his mingling in the air. I thrive on fierce competition, on fighting to the death.

I remember my first battle in my world. I was a young man, just starting out in my "respectable" criminal career. I was part of a fighting ring where criminals like me were the victims, and the innocent were just entertainment for the rich.

I remember the cage was made of iron, every inch stained with the blood of past battles. The fight here was to the death, and everything was allowed.

I entered the fight with my muscles flexing, but facing me was a mountain of explosive power. Was this guy stupid, but strong?

When the bell rang, I moved quickly, sliding under his legs. My body was agile. I came up behind him and jumped on his neck, clinging with all my might.

It didn't last more than five seconds before he grabbed me and slammed my head against the iron cage. I fell to the ground, blood pouring from my mouth.

But this giant didn't show any mercy. He approached me and lifted me by the neck into the air. I felt death coming, but I was too young to die. So I kicked out, striking his head with my foot.

When I did, I felt his grip weaken, so I quickly dropped down and hit him below the belt with all my strength. He couldn't take the pain and collapsed to the ground. I jumped on him, raining down blows without mercy.

Each punch knocked out teeth and blood, but I didn't stop until there wasn't a single tooth left in his mouth. When I felt him lose consciousness, I put my hands around his neck and finished him.

Kill or be killed.

This is the rule I learned in my past life. That's why I was saddened when I died by betrayal. I didn't want a humiliating death like this, but what could I do? It was out of my hands. But before my battle with the wolf could begin, unexpected guests arrived.
