The second half resumed with both teams trading attacks, but the score remained deadlocked at 1–1.
The game entered a phase of fierce contest.
Both teams brought on their strongest players, pushing for a breakthrough, but the scoreline remained unchanged.
In the 55th minute, Juventus launched a swift counterattack.
Messi dribbled into the box, and Azpilicueta and David Luiz stepped up to block him.
But Messi pulled off a sharp cutback and played the ball to the onrushing Dybala.

It smashed against the crossbar and bounced out!
"What a pity! Luiz almost put Chelsea back in front!" sighed Xu Jingyu.
"Su Luo's delivery was pinpoint, and Luiz's header had great power—but it just struck the bar. Unlucky!"
As time ticked on, both teams were feeling the toll of the intense match.
Apart from a few bursts of offense, both sides began to play more cautiously.
Then, in the 79th minute, the ball found its way to Messi again.
He faked a move to fool Azpilicueta and swiftly cut inside, surging into the penalty area...
